I see Rachel Riley is going with 'the wrong type of Jews support Corbyn' stuff.

Another huge win in the battle against anti semitism.

I am convinced that she is being fed lines by David Collier to attract abuse which they can then hold up as evidence of anti semitism.

It won't even have to be anti semitic. They will just use legal threats to get people to admit it.

She's certainly getting fed by someone, she doesn't strike me as a keen reader of Chomsky.

Just wondering... what is the actual evidence of anti-Semitism in Labour? Has there been any convictions? Did it just suddenly surface once JC won the leadership?

Labour does a grand job of shooting itself in the foot, esp in Scotland, does it need smear campaigns to discredit it?

Antisemitism is something of a specialist subject for you. So perhaps I should defer to an expert.

But I am far more interested in the evidence of such a huge breach in bioethics. My ex worked as a research coordinator for medical trials so I am very keen on the evidence as I can get it to people with clout in the field.

I worked at Bristol Laboratories last year. The corners I saw people trying to cut there were shocking. There were people who did the best they could to stop it happening and I'm sure they'd be happy to back me up. They've lost one of their licences and it's up in the air whether or not they get it back. Would your ex be interested? p.s - I'm talking team leaders and managers being bent, not just a few people at the bottom who don't know what they're doing.

Apparently instances of anti-Semitism are down in the Labour party under Corbyn and with ,only this week ,a letter of support signed by 200 leading academic Jewish people in support of Corbyn , fly's in the face of the MSM narrative....

Someone needs to tell Tom Watson.

Chris Williamson has been ordered to apologise for saying that Labour are too apologetic.

I've just read what he said and I can't see how anyone can disagree with him (other than the usual suspects), he's certainly not done anything which would merit a ticking off let alone a suspension, as all he's basically stated is that Labour are doing more than anyone to tackle the "scourge" of anti semitism, however the party are apologising for things which they shouldn't need to as they ARE doing everything that could be asked or expected of them.

What's wrong with that ??

I see after being pulled in by party apparatchiks Williamson has issued an apology....

Quote

Amid growing anger over his conduct, Mr Williamson is reported to have held a meeting with aides of Jeremy Corbyn's shortly before Prime Minister's Questions began at midday.

Minutes later, he issued a statement on Twitter apologising, saying he never meant to downplay the "pernicious and cancerous" nature of anti-Semitism.

"I deeply regret and apologise for my recent choice of words," he wrote. "I was trying to suggest how much the party has done to tackle anti-Semitism.

"Our movement can never be too apologetic about racism in our ranks. While it is true there have been very few cases of anti-Semitism in Labour, it is also true that those few are too many."

At PMQs, Theresa May said Labour's lack of action "summed up" the state of the opposition.

The glee amongst Tories & their friends in the meejah is probably the most depressing part of the story.

They just keep repeating the same narrative without any facts or evidence, hence the reason Williamson said what he said.

That's the problem when you have "pravda" running your media....................

It certainly doesn’t help that the deputy leader of the Labour Party is endorsing and encouraging the media narrative.

No, Watson is a disgrace and should be taken to task for his continuous attacks on his own party. If anyone should be "suspended", then they need look no further than that tosser.

It's strange (or not) that an issue which directly affects a very tiny minority of the UK electorate seems to garner so much publicity.

The Labour party could quite easily win an election without a single Jewish vote.

Makes you wonder why this is such a massive issue in the media. I don't know any of my circle of friends/aquaintences who give a flying f**k about it.

Was the "circle" of friends/acquaintances originally formed in 1930s Germany?

Which part of Suspect Device’s post do you disagree with?  If you’re going to insinuate he’s a Nazi it would be interesting to know.

Indeed.  Whilst I don't doubt that there has been some very nasty and almost certainly anonymous invective circulating perhaps this whole issue has less to do with ingrained anti-Semitism within the Corbyn-led Labour Party, and much more to do with a much diminished Jewish and indeed pro-Israeli influence within that same Corbyn-led Labour Party.

Having let the hare out of the traps, there are people who for whatever reason are quite happy to see the media dogs run in pursuit of it.  And once the issue gains a critical media mass, then it is only a matter of time of before an army of sectarian keyboard warriors dive right into the elephant trap to reinforce the narrative.

Methinks, Hodge, Berger, Mann, Austin et al protest too much, and I smell an agenda.

I don't doubt there are a load of anti semites within the Labour party who use Zionist as code for Jew. Likewise I don't doubt there are loads of Blairites who use "racist" and "anti semite" as code for people who support Corbyn and have some empathy for the Palestinians. Vote SNP!

Any proof of this sweeping statement?

Wind your neck in. It was clearly a joke.
I don't think he's a Nazi.

But SD and his buddies don't give a flying f**k about the antisemitism present in the Labour party.
He has absolutely no concern or desire to try and fix it. Business as usual from Corbyn and Co.

That's not great.
