bridgeofweirdo
Time for a reality check for Edinburgh City. QP to win 2-0.
an86
Extremely tough game. The goalscoring situation is clearly a problem that continues to hinder us. That’s not uncommon for us, though. Hopefully Mark Roberts can get a reaction from last week. Big couple of weeks for him if he’s looking to take the job full-time. Only seen Edinburgh City twice, with the game at Meadowbank in the Challenge Cup a few years ago being literally the worst game of football I’ve attended in 25ish years of going to games. Horrible. Hopefully more entertaining, tomorrow!

EdinburghTurkey
Blair Henderson always scores, as befitting someone of his height. Fancy Shepherd or Smith to get another one too, in a 2-1 City win. I was planning to go across, but unfortunately had to cancel. Hoping to get to the return visit later in the year instead. Guest Landan Spiv
Id be happy with a point. Looking forward to our trip tomorrow. Our club was formed to be the Edinburgh version of Queens Park, we might not have ever existed if it wasnt for Queens Park so ive got a soft spot for the spiders. Tenkay
This will be a hard game for City! Queens are a good team, summed up by a great win in Europe over the Welsh champions! In fact Queens Park have done better in Europe than supposed bigger Scottish teams! We've plenty goal scoring power though, so I'm hopeful City will win a tight game 1-
Spidersmad
Not a tight game at all. Could have been 4 or 5 nil to City. Queen's were dreadful. It was 32 minutes in before they managed a shot on goal. Absolute shocker of a performance.

There was only ever one team winning this right from the kick off . Horrible viewing once again. New manager asap.
Bring Your Own Socks
Very impressed with EC. Clearly not just a purple patch. Not looking great for us though. Back line far too deep and the midfield was all over the shop. Not even sure what the formation was meant to be. Loads of space for EC to move through. Hawke should be starting every week. Time Smart took a rest.
Joe coconuts
Experienced guys against young guys, they’ll learn a lot from today, EC had all the fly moves, shirt tugging, dives, and rolling about the ground like Italian superstars, plus their manager is a total dickhead reacting to the QP fans, what a total embarrassment
EdinburghTurkey
Great to see Graham Taylor in the goals today. I've been impressed with him since he first came in on loan last year, and he so often gets the assists. With Blair blank today, he steps up and secures another three points. I will have to get along to Ainslie next weekend for Cowden.
Velvet Donkey
EC look very strong, I can't see them dropping many points. Big Gerry important again but we were a shambles. Really absent midfield despite the efforts of Roberts. Agree we should shuffle our attack line up.
Joe coconuts
Roberts seems to have been moved out of central midfield to a forward role, tucked in behind the forward, the midfield looked a bit more stable when they moved him back into central midfield after the fotheringham substitution
qpfc
I really struggle to understand why we've forced fotheringham into the team, considering Roberts and Mckernon were beginning to form a really strong partnership. Dreadful performance with Gerry, Hart and Roberts only getting pass marks
Joe coconuts
It’s as if the TNS result has drained them, EC were really good, everyone of their players created space for themselves off the ball, QP have a siege mentality, if in doubt then pass it back, looks really negative, think it needs to be drummed into them to always look for space and stop ball watching

bobthespider
We were second best today. Edinburgh a very good side no 10 for Edinburgh surely should be playing at a higher level .
PASSANDMOVE
No 10 Danny Handling ex Hibs. Poor performance from us today, absolutely no belief and too many players passing sideways and backwards. One shot on target at home is shocking, hopefully get it sorted soon.
