One posters obsession with TJ and now Maxwell certainly appears to have gotten into a few heads. The lease on Hampden Park expires next year and a £5m deal to purchase from Queens Park which was due to be rubber stamped last month is in danger of collapsing. In my opinion one of many far more pressing issues than the awarding of a licence to a club playing football on a plastic pitch inside a cage. Yet your on here posting about.......

The Lowland League granted a waiver for East of Scotland clubs past the March 31st deadline. The Lowland League advert for applications back in February gave a deadline of May 15th. Any applications would have to be assessed, so that pretty much takes them to the Lowland League AGM. It'd probably be decided sometime in the next couple of weeks. Ian Maxwell and Rod Petrie attended last year's Lowland League AGM and will probably back this year to do the same sort of presentation. They won't want the same kind of questions that they just had from the EoS.

Popular Post Burnie_man
Blackburn United's licence has been formally approved by the SFA Board today, so excellent news for us. I don't know anymore than that ie what other clubs have also been approved.

The product of years of unrewarded work and sacrfice, a well-earned pat on the back for those who've got one of West Lothian's traditionally smaller clubs to the point where they're only the third licenced club in the county (hopefully with Broxburn to follow quickly). Hope this means we'll be hearing more good news from around the country, especially at New Dundas Park.

It's only open to the winner of the EoS or SoS. Similar thing happened in the SoS, their champion isn't elligible for promotion so nobody can come up from there.
The REAL Rookie Cookie
BREAKING NEWS Penicuik Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce that the SFA have confirmed that following consideration by the Board, our application for membership of the Scottish Football Association has been approved. Our Membership will be effective from the commencement of the Scottish FA Annual General Meeting, which is being held on Wednesday 12th June 2019, at which the club will be represented. Everyone at the club is delighted at this news and having achieved SFA Quality Mark status during the season the full SFA membership is an achievement that was set out when we made our move to join the SFA pyramid last June as new members of the East of Scotland Football Association. The club now heads to the next chapter in its history with a place in next seasons Scottish Cup to look forward to and further ground improvements taking place at Penicuik Park over the close season. The club would like to thank everyone who has made this achievement possible .
falkirktv
Camelon rejected on grounds of not having floodlights. Very very disappointed. Despite meeting the criteria at the time we applied and having works underway to install lights. Edited May 7, 2019 by falkirktv
Ginaro
Will be interesting to see if the list at https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-fa/football-governance/club-licensing/ gets updated by the end of play today. 1 minute ago, falkirktv said: Camelon rejected on grounds of not having floodlights. Very very disappointed. Was there a plan submitted to the SFA board on a timeline for getting lights installed, or any planning permission application ongoing like Bonnyrigg? Wonder how long the current members without lights are getting to install them...
