I've always been half expecting Shawfield to go the way of Glasgow's various other strangely combustible buildings. Three quarters of the place is absolutely fucked and the cost of the upkeep of the rest of it must be hefty.

Drive past it most days going to work and looks totally overgrown and walls in danger of collapse.

When involved with a junior team we approached Willie King about using ground but costs were too prohibitive to repair pitch. Changing rooms still had old speedway gear left lying about in them looked totally untouched

I enjoyed the nostalgia of an young lad watching Clyde even experiencing first hand football hooliganism the days of visiting Hearts & Thistle fans

Place would never take if you took a match to it. Riddled with damp and leaks probably.
