Benefit of the doubt was the protocol for when the linesman was unsure, they were told to back the striker in that scenario, the key word is doubt, if the lineman has no doubt, or VAR can remove any doubt then their is no need for that protocol to be followed. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
