AM-1
Decent game in Cambuslang with Glencairn out the traps early doors and deserved their 3-0 lead with the Lang struggling all over the park. Cambuslang finally got to grips and made a game of it pulling it back to 3-2 at HT then 4-4 halfway through 2nd half and on top. The strong bench from the visitors made the difference with McKay coming on plus the Lang down to 10 men. Cambuslang can hold their heads high and done well after initially struggling. Their number 3 who played at the back before being sent, the wee lad who was CM then finished at CF and the young tall CF who was strangely substituted all stand outs for the home team. Glencairn seemed to struggle with too many players off form but will be happy the jobs done and deserved the win at the end of the day. McRobie and McKay worth a mention for the visitors. Lokloyal
Lok didn’t play well and Clydebank did.Fortunate to scrape through on penalties.Good luck to Clydebank this season-despite previous results if they play like tonight consistently they will do fine. [emoji23] I was hoping big Chris would miss your penalty late in the second half, but It wasn't to be. Good look to lok for the season ahead, btw your pitch is in amazing condition too. standing up well to the heavy rain tonight [emoji1303][emoji1303] great job

timeforchange
Here we go again . It’s crazy that we are trying to cram games in again at this time of the season . It’s only August and games are getting called off and we are trying to squeeze in 4 games a week . Teams just finding out tonight they have a game on Wednesday cos they won tonight look at the weather. There was traffic problems all over the place tonight and people are struggling to rush from work to get to parks in time for a 6.45 ko

The1andonly
Glens having to get to Lanark for a 6:45 kick off on a work night how are players expected to make these games also no excuses but I do know of 3 players playing with injuries tonight so all in all a good victory also think Cambuslang will do ok this year if they work as hard as that every week

A fair assessment, except the red card had no influence on the result as it came in the 88th minute with Glencairn already 5-4 ahead by then. Cambuslang will do well this season on that showing. [emoji106] Best player on the park tonight was Simeon.

glensmad
Dale's ambition was playing at a higher level than Queen's Park, that's why he chose Glencairn.
