How Ireland gets its way
On a per-head basis, Ireland has a good claim to be the world’s most diplomatically powerful country
Absolutely, but unionists claim it's a basketcase. Everyone is homeless and no jobs. People lap it up.......

Didn’t SF launch their 2020 election campaign in the Republic on a platform of reform; promising to address the longstanding issues of sky high rents, an acute housing shortage and spiralling rates of homelessness?

ETA, Unemployment was also 30% higher (total workforce) in the ROI than the U.K. in 2019 (Source World Bank).

2. Yes and No. FG got voted out primarily based on the housing and health mess.

Big vote to SF was very much a protest vote imo.

Housing shortage Yes.
Not addressing sky high rents... No. Rental caps have been introduced.
Homelessness - No more than in UK.

Housing and health mess. (Although not rents and homelessness, obviously.)

What else were the voters protesting about?

Against what?

Status Quo. Brexit most certainly drove a protest element against the establishment

What did they do to upset the voters?
