Tight minge
In the flat with fever/chills and a dry throat. No cough yet, so hopefully just your bog-standard bug. But who knows? Can't leave my flat in this state because they are temperature checking everyone every time they enter the building. If I'm above whatever they consider acceptable, I get kicked out the building.I won’t give you thoughts and prayers, but all the best and hope it doesn’t develop to anything.Since my ME/Stay at home notice and all the meds to take, I can’t say I feel much better. Can hardly draw a fucking breathe at times. Thats now 2 weeks of this shit, so hopefully its near the end (or I am).
Tight minge
I'm due to move to SEA in a few months - convinced that there'll be a flight ban from UK by then. I think most of SEA will be the safest place to be, not 100% convinced Malaysia features in that. Awrabest Depends where in SEA your going to be. I doubt it will be the safest place to be. Most countries just don’t have the infrastructure to cope
carpetmonster
Can imagine the US shutting borders now. Mexico are now talking about shutting the northern border as there's only 15 diagnosed cases there so far and they don't want it to get any worse. The GIRFUY aspect won't have crossed their minds at all, I don't think.

How are they managing? Austria are keeping a skeleton staff for kids whose parents are front line workers who need to go to work and the kids would otherwise go to their grandparents Edit: pretty sure I read that nhs support staff would be manning childcare facilities too for children of doctors, nurses etc were the schools to close. FifeSons
My office has been shut since Wednesday and is confirmed to stay that way next week. All others seem to be gradually doing the same. Can’t see anything having changed within 2 weeks, you really have to wonder how long this could go on for. Not to mention the selfish lunatics down at Tesco at the crack of dawn carrying enough toilet roll and dried food to last until next year. Mad times.
madmitch
NZ effectively closing their border. Anyone coming in from anywhere except the pacific islands must self isolate for two weeks. Effective as of tomorrow.

Just bear in mind Duterte has taken this action as a proactive measure rather than a reactive one - he knows the place couldn't cope with any significant outbreak so is doing what he can to ensure it doesn't materialise. Maybe not the worst approach t.b.h. Also, whilst I'm not in the affected area, I have been keeping tabs and there is no embargo on goods coming in so that should allay some fears about food shortages. As always in the country, as long as you're not poor you'll get by - hopefully your old boy is comfortable enough to ride it out.

Agreed...we both know how capital- centric the place is so they'll be pulling stuff from the provinces to keep Manila going if needbe. I'm just peed off 'cos I ordered 3 solar powered plastic flamingos for my garden and they were due for delivery yesterday - who knows when I'll get them now? f**k this virus!
charon
I just wish Reynard still posted. I can imagine the huge fuckin' rant about 'short, sharp cull of bed blockers' . Instead we get the rants by a roaster of a chicken
