Dougie Imrie and 8 other players.................allegedly

Hearts fans will be spilling man juice over this

And with Brian Rice not long served his suspension for betting on football,  this is obviously to the core at Hamilton.  The only possible punishment has got to be a points deduction.

Match fixing eh, I remember the sfa telling us how serious that was and how there was only one outcome for it.

How the f**k can it be “match fixing” when he was betting on yellow cards during the game ?
Stupid ...yes

Match fixing ...no

2 yellow cards make a red and off the park, thus giving the opposition an advantage.  If he'd got a second yellow in the game/games he's accused of, I'd say the first deliberate yellow constitutes match fixing.

He could fix the first yellow then get suckered later for a second that he had no intention of and off he goes, because he fixed the first booking and so influenced the match.  Life does have consquences.

Refs fix matches all the time then, the amount of cards they dish out for fuckall, Collum would be the biggest match fixer going with the red cards he gives out.

Also, how many players have deliberately got booked to get suspensions out of the way for a bigger game coming up, happens all the time. Wouldn't say their motive was match fixing, poor choice of words imo.

A bit like saying you shouldn't arrest criminals because not all of them are found out (or have any evidence of - your claim of refs fixing games).  Imrie (and maybe a lot more at Hamilton) has.  Thats how it goes.

That's not like saying that at all. Also, I didn't claim refs were fixing matches, I said if getting booked was regarded as doing so, then refs would be the biggest match fixers going.

Personally I think the SFA hatched a nefarious plot to send subliminal messages out to players and officials, the very words match fixtures triggers them off.

Yeah. It's manipulation of in-play markets, and it's criminal and should be punished, but no match has been fixed here.

Obviously getting worried about the imminent points deduction.

Not worried at all .. doubt very much the club would be punished...

Fines and possibly bans for all involved ...

edit - see Coventry Saints post re. match fixing ... that’s a sensible post ..

Obviously worried that if Accies don’t get points deducted then St. Mirren will finish bottom (two?) ...🤔
