TheGoon
So this is happening. I’m at the very least intrigued by Edge/Orton, and I think Lashley might actually win the belt. Other than that, ehh...

TheGoon
That was a great, hard-hitting match from Drew & Lashley. Wonder where the latter goes from here if they don’t give him a rematch.

Ludo*1
I knew they couldn't leave the Taker style match alone and use it once in a blue moon for special effect. Utter, utter shite.
RossBFaeDundee
Pedigrees and Rock Bottoms, huh... Pretty enjoyable overall though tbf. Edited June 15, 2020 by RossBFaeDundee
TheGoon
Edge/Orton was good, but just totally ruined by the gimmicks in the buildup and on the night. This show will be forgotten about quite quickly I think.
FifeArab
Went to sleep during the tag team match gimmick. Thought Edge v Orton was a pretty good a match. Not quite the greatest wrestling match ever though.
Ludo*1
Lashley came out of that looking strong even if his loss came about as a result of a storyline we've seen 1000x before. Edge vs Orton was very, very good and a lovely tribute to the GOAT of announcers in Howard Finkel at the start too. It was a pretty poor show overall but that stood out as the high points.
forameus
Just finished up watching. The matches themselves were all pretty good. Few weaker ones, but as a B show being reacted to by whatever NXT wrestlers they could throw together, it was pretty good. Edge vs Orton would have been so much better if they hadn't gone down the "best match" route. It was such an easy story to tell, Edge not knowing if he could still go. And the odd thing was they tried to tell that story too, but laid the "best" stuff on top like a big steaming turd. Big shame, because both guys put on a great match, even if it dragged on a bit in the end with finisher after finisher. Presumably sets up a final rubber match, and really interesting to see where they go with it. Edge is apparently injured (which I presume is heavy kayfabe) so hopefully they're holding it until there's a big enough show, in front of a big crowd. Survivor Series would be nice (if we have crowds by then). Then there was the Tag Team stuff.....jesus fucking christ. At WM, WWE knocked it out of the park with their two filmed matches, and they struck exactly the right tone. The MITB "matches" were right on the edge, but this flew right into the realm of Vince humour. Clearly the thought was that it was much funnier than it ended up being. A few smirk moments, but that's more down to the guys involved doing their best. Having a questionably racist spot in there too with Tozawa would be ill-advised at the best of times, but now? Ooft. Just awful stuff. EDIT: From watching Wrestling with Wregret, turns out Edge did get injured, non-kayfabe. Torn tricep. JamieStevenson
Watched the main event and really enjoyed it, so much better than LMS. I'll catch up on the rest of the card another time.
