Been a pleasure to watch him develop and I hope he’s a BU player for as long as possible. There is no doubt he is top drawer and has been a standout for the time he has been at Newtown. Max has had a hard time each weak trying to put out his preferred team. The injury list is gradually coming down so maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Another win what can you say. HJ, this would not be an occasion of United potentially returning to the League. this would be a first. It's popular to believe that Bo'ness FC & Cadora merged to form United. That is not strictly true. Certainly Cadora played a large part and their former committee were prominent in United's start. Bo'ness FC were not really a going concern at the time, with the lease of Newtown Park being held by the Admiralty during the war. It was agreed at first meetings that if Senior football were to be resuscitated in Bo'ness, then United would step aside.
