bigwullieac
Word of the law is that in the box as long as theres an attempt to play the ball it's a yellow ref got the call right.

Deanburn Dave
EASY, EASY, EASY !!Aye right. The Braves were a decent team but found goalie Andy Murphy in great form.
Deanburn Dave
Agree. He had lost the ball and deliberately tripped the BU player.I don’t think he attempted to play the ball
bigwullieac
MOTM Njcky Locke for me, him moving into Ritchies spot changed the game totally and a great assist for the first and won the pen.Honourable mentions for Stuart MacFarlane who was great at the back and Zander Miller for making a nuicance of himself to the Braves defense.

bigwullieac
It's not often I'll give the opposition defense the benefit of the doubt but I think he did at least look to be trying to play it, though there was never a chance he would win it.
Jambo'ness
Murphy MOTM for me. We could easily have been 3 down before we went ahead. Fantastic work from Locke to earn the penalty. Braves are a good side but are a torn-faced bunch.
BU_Brian
Yaaaahhhhh!!!!!!! Couple of good saves from Big Andy... we could have been 3 nil up. Again... just got stronger and stronger as the game went on. will take the result... the performance? I am not going to complain. Slow start but really came into the game. rode our luck a little, but I feel that went both ways. attempting to be unbiased, I think we deserved the 3 points. another good Saturday evening ahead... Onwards and upwards.
Deanburn Dave
Post match interview from Max. Braves a good side. Good win . Murphy some great saves. Praised the centrehalfs. A great win for us. Ross Campbell missing because he had his wisdom teeth out. Hunter on his way back.

Jambo'ness
Last time we won our opening four league matches was back in 2013, when we won the league. No delusions on that score but just keep taking each game as it comes and we will do all right.

Deanburn Dave
A thing of beauty that.It is indeed. Five teams with 100 % records. .......and also 5 teams with no points. Delighted we are at the top end.
LongTimeLurker
Next two games definitely look highly winnable but there will only be Gretna left to play from the bottom seven in the first half of the season after that, so the next couple of months will provide a much clearer picture of where things stand.

A lot of very good sides still to play and on paper it looks a very strong league, certainly at this stage. Definitely tough games and good teams still to play. Just hope we can get back in for some of these games which I’m sure the BU would love fans to be there for to be the 12th man. Jambo'ness
For those that wondered at the wisdom of moving from the Juniors to the Seniors, wonder no more.
Deanburn Dave
For those that wondered at the wisdom of moving from the Juniors to the Seniors, wonder no more.Totally agree......and tier 5 is the place to be. The Lowland League will get stronger and stronger over the next 5 years. Exciting and challenging times ahead.
HibeeJibee
For those of us historically-minded: would this be the first time Bo'ness have occupied a position to potentially return to the Scottish League since Bo'ness FC was expelled in 1933?
