They have games in hand but their schedule will be packed in February/March due to that and youve already seen them struggle with that. If you dont finish 3rd from here it should be viewed as a failure, IMO. Look at this entitled Hearts fan. I'd be surprised if Aberdeen won all their games in hand. As mentioned above, I think if we beat Dundee and them after the break, we'll be in a very good position. If Aberdeen come to Tynecastle and win (and there'll be an away win in that fixture eventually) then they're very much back in it though. Said all season I think we've got the third best squad, and I think that's been shown so far. No room for fucking about at this stage though. Need to go and finish the job.

If we win the next two, I can't see anyone catching us. If we drop points against Dundee and lose to Aberdeen then we'll be right back in the mix and the pressure will be back on Naismith. Far from impossible given our home displays this season.
Craigie Jambo
This is a handy site, but it shows re-scheduled matches on the week number it was originally scheduled instead of when it was actually played for previous years Ok for us looking back over this Season though, as we've not played our only postponed match yet https://www.worldfootball.net/schedule/sco-premiership-2023-2024-spieltag/20/

Get those first 2 fixtures in against Dundee and Aberdeen and we're flying. Aberdeen will need to average 2 points a game just to hit that marker now. I wouldn't rule that completely out but it's a tall order. As long as we have learned our lessons and try not to go for 5 straight defeats as we did last season, we should be fine.
topcat(The most tip top)
William Hills’s have hearts odds on at 2/7 for premiership w/o Celtic and Rangers which seems about right

RandomGuy.
Rooney would be a great signing for you. He can absolutely dominate a flank on his own which frees up those in attack to be more central. Hes an absolute magnet too so youd find even more space in the box for other players too, as you'd have people unintentionally drifting to the back post to defend against Rooney at crosses. topcat(The most tip top)
The way things are working at the moment we're expecting full backs to drift infield more when we're attacking as opposed to overlapping Letting our wingers be more wingerish This is probably as much a function of the personnel we have in midfield as anything else
