afca32
Didn't watch in the end yesterday but a disappointing result. It's been a good start to the season though and there's no reason to panic yet. Of the teams below us I'd say only Edinburgh have looked better than us. Obviously I haven't seen Stenny yet but it's a winnable game next week and if we do that we'll probably be 2nd with 1/3 of the season gone which is hard to argue with.
ski64
Good result for Rovers today. How have young Finn Ecrepont and Gabe Skeoch performed so far? Both doing well and gaining experience, Gabe been unavailable for last few weeks but hopefully back soon. Finn has started at left back most games though not yesterday. All about them gaining valuable game time and experience particularly as there is no reserve football for Ayr this season.

He found himself dropped yesterday though and his replacement (Lewis Wilson) did well. The other lad hasn't had as many appearances, and has been out of the squad recently, possibly through illness. His father is an occasional poster on here so may tell us more.

Chris_the_rover
Lots of teams have respect for Rovers on their home turf, we still can't see past an Elgin win and possibly a convincing one at that. Especially if AR defend set pieces like they did last Saturday... This aged well ...
