++Ammo - Airdrie++ Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Apathy doesn't even cover it from an Airdrie POV. Anything more than a loss here is a bonus. Crighton still out, Turner (?) out also, its really not looking good at all. No idea what the starting 11 will be, don't even think Murray does at this moment in time either. Cove 2-0 Airdrie 0 Quote
CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Hopefully Cove line up like this; McKenzie Ngwenya Strachan/Higgins Graham Ross Masson Hanratty Fyvie/Scully Yule Mitch Rory Hopefully no Livingstone, McIntosh or worse Broque Watson Looking forward to our first home game in a while. I think there will be a few goals and hopefully a decent spectacle. Draw no use for either team really. 0 Quote

Cove 2-0 Airdrie Maybe something like this? Currie J McKay - P McKay - Fordyce - McCann Paton - Sabatini O'Reilly - Roy - Carrick Connell If it is that then that's a formidable right side of the defence. I expected Roy or Connell to come in for Gallagher but surprised to see Robert dropping out, though not necessarily disappointed as he's been poor since the restart. Also the rare sight of Patrick Pyott on the bench. I wasn't sure whether I'd bother watching this but quite interested to see how Paton and Sabatini get on together and it's not like there's much else to do! 0 Quote

Livingstone starts on the bench but McIntosh plays 4-5-1 for Cove who in their first 2 games since the restart showed promise. Hoping for more improvement tonight. Mitch is the goalscoring threat. Wouldn't bank on many others scoring 0 Quote
Chapelhall chap Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Booked in after several hiccups over PPV. Glad to get a draw as losing three in a row will soon be four! 0 Quote

Why we keep persisting with McIntosh I do not know. 1 Quote

I was shocked how far he was standing off Cardle/Murray against Partick and Wallace on Saturday. McIntosh isn't doing nearly enough to justify his start. I feel for Rory not getting into the team as he was improving post lock down Interested to see how Seb gets on as the little I've seen of him he hasn't really featured Edited March 30, 2021 by CoveRangers1922 0 Quote

CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) Almost 30 minutes in and Cove have had a lot of the ball and looked composed but not much cutting edge in the final third yet. This game is crying out for Rory. Let Mitch get the knock downs from the big man. Edited March 30, 2021 by CoveRangers1922 0 Quote
CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Some free kick from Fyvie. Very close to the opener 0 Quote
CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) What the hell Fyvie . This is exactly what I'm talking about. 13 league games and our midfield; Fyvie - 0 Scully - 0 Yule - 0 Masson - 1 McIntosh - 1 There are only 2 people capable of finding the net and that's Mitch and Rory Edited March 30, 2021 by CoveRangers1922 0 Quote

airdrieman Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 No idea how Fyvie missed that. One of those ones that's easier to score than miss. Big let off as far as we're concerned. 0 Quote

CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 First touch and Masson makes it 1-0. Couldn't really miss unless your Fyvie! Airdrie not out of the game as they've had a couple of chances second half. Cove need to press on and look for more goals 0 Quote
CoveRangers1922 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Masson again. Great flick from Mitch and good cross from Fyvie to set up a simple tap-in 0 Quote
