Steady amateur player maybe. I haven't seen anything from Declan Hughes to suggest he can cut it in the SPFL. He looks like a reasonable passer of the ball but he doesn't move it quickly enough, he doesn't move it forward enough, he can't tackle and he can't press. He's been hooked in the last two matches and the team have looked better after his removal. Another player to file under the "might be handy for a mid-table Lowland League side but not good enough for League 2" category.

ILLEGAL STREAMING BEING DONE IN BREACH OF EUFA RULES ? UEFA Article 48 – Blocked Hours Protection means that there can be no live matches shown in England on a Saturday between 14:45 and 5:15, a rule the English FA have now insisted on and all clubs have been told to adhere to by the Scottish FA. Any financial costs for us to enable a geoblocking of our broadcast to block only England would run into thousands of pounds which we just don’t have meaning we have to unfortunately restrict all locations. We invested in providing this service last season when it was encouraged to allow fans to see games and to give clubs some much needed income and to allow those fans unable to attend a chance to still support their club. We have now had it confirmed that it isn't possible to continue the service unless we can block our service to England, so along with a number of other clubs, we have to stop with immediate effect. No as we don’t sell them to people in England. Shame for our supporters down there.
Neilly
That really is a ridiculous rule. UEFA are utter scumbags but we already knew that.

If it wasn’t there the likes of sky would be showing games at 3 p.m. That would be a killer for lower league football.

Cowden316
If this is a team/players battling for survival in a very important game I am deeply concerned. Absolutely appalling first half. Either the players are not playing for the manager or the manager can no longer get results and the best out of their team selection. Something is clearly not right and there has to be a level of responsibility. Either way something has to change and fast and brave bold leadership decisions are now required. We have been here before and the alarm bells are truly ringing. Edited October 16, 2021 by Cowden316

Only coo in the village
Bollan needs to go now if Cowden are to have any chance of avoiding the drop into the Lowland league. The question will be asked about can we afford to sack him ? The follow up question to ask in reply to that is can we afford not to ?
