Wee-Bey
EURO 32 Your commentators are Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend. Spoiler CT: *begins by shoehorning obscure reference to 1966* Here's your Faroe Island side for today. 17 year old MB striker Justinussen leads the line, while Hansen and Tengstedt play against their country of birth. Former Greenock Morton youngster Gilli Mortensen captains the side. AT: Looking forward to this one Clive. Morton is a lovely little town, I'm sure they will all be cheering him on. Spoiler CT: Kallsberg moves into the box AND HE'S BROUGHT DOWN. The referee points to the spot PENALTY !! AT: WOW !! CT: Kallsberg himself will take the kick and... scores 1-0. Spoiler CT: Kallsberg gets to the byline and floats it across. JUSTINUSSENNNNN 2-0 AT: WOW. What a start Clive. They've come out of the starting gun like rabbits in the harelights and they're 2 up already. Spoiler CT: And the referee points to the spot, that looked soft. Denmark have an opportunity to get back into this match. Was it a penalty Andy ? AT: Not for me Clive. CT: Zidan Sertimir scores and it's 2-1. Game on. Spoiler CT: Half time at Old Trafford and it's Faroe Islands 2, Denmark 1. Spoiler CT: It's been a pretty uneventful 2nd half here, the expected Danish onslaught has never materialized and... the full time whistle blows. THE FAROE ISLANDS HAVE BEATEN DENMARK. AT: WOW. CT: Do you know who else have beaten Denmark 2-1 at a European Championship Andy ? England. Is that an omen ? AT: I'm not sure Clive, you have to get all your chickens in a row and count them before they hatch.
Wee-Bey
Analysis from our studio team of Gary Lineker and Roy Keane. Spoiler GL: The Islanders certainly had a Faroe-ld time against Denmark, but surely there's Norway they will beat the current World Champions too Roy ? (glances smugly at camera) RK: (slightly irritated) We'll just have to wait and see Gary. GL: The Faroes make one change from that opening group game. MB left back Abrahamsen starts. Spoiler GL: and in the end it was the simplest of finishes for Haaland Roy. RK: (exasperated) The defending Gary. What are they doing ? Spoiler GL: Henriksen's 2nd yellow card really left them in the lurch didn't it Roy ? RK: (visibly annoyed) He's let his teammates down big time. Big time. If it was me in that dressing room at half time i would be letting him know in no uncertain terms. Spoiler GL: It was a great free kick from Haaland wasn't it ? RK: (rolls eyes) He's a top class player and that's what top class players do Gary. Spoiler GL: It was a simple finish really for Gunderson after some good work in the build up. RK: (absolutely seething) What are they doing ? It's embarrassing Gary, this is the European Championship for gods sake. Wee-Bey
Your commentators are Martin Tyler and Gary Neville. Spoiler MT: 3 changes for the Faroes after that defeat from Norway. Rasmussen replaces the suspended Henriksen, while Thorleifsson makes his first start of the tournament. GN: They had to do something Martin because they were a disgrace last time, an absolute disgrace. MT: It's Romania against the Faroe Islands. AND IT'S LIVE!!! Spoiler MT: Justinussen plays it in. THORLEIFSSONNNNNNNNNN GN: *high pitched squeal* MT: I swear you'll never see anything like this ever again, so watch it, drink it in. Spoiler Spoiler MT: Full time and the Faroes have qualified for the next round here at the Stadium of Light in scenes you would only see in one other place, The Barclays Premier League. GN: The Faroes held on in the end Martin, but I have to say the Romanian finishing was a disgrace, an absolute disgrace. Spoiler
Wee-Bey
Spoiler This was not broadcast on TV because it contains x-rated content. We were utterly pumped.
Wee-Bey
National Team So, the tournament was a great success for us. We did get hammered a couple of times but there was no shame in that as the 2 teams that beat us contested the final, with Norway beating Serbia and emulating the great Spanish side of 2008-2012 by adding the Euros to their World Cup triumph 2 years earlier. Not sure how the Netherlands reaching the QF meant they were the biggest overachievers tbh. I was obviously given a heroes welcome back home. Keeper won young player of the tournament, he's come through the youth system at a Danish club. We're now up to 80th in the world.
Wee-Bey
MB Whisper it, but there's a proper title race this year and it's our best chance yet to win the league. KI have blown a 10 point lead as we've been grinding out wins including a 1st league victory over KI for 2 and a half seasons as we sworded them 5-2. We still have play them again away, but technically, the title is in our hands atm. Bad news came in the shape of losing one of our top boys, left back Asbjorn Abrahamsen. He played twice at the Euros and has 12 caps already. A difficult one as he wasn't signing a new deal and with no one else in for him was desperate to join KI and the rest of the team were bitching about it too. He would have went to KI for nothing eventually. We got the sell on clause and effectively delayed the transfer for 18 months by getting him on loan until the end of next season.
Wee-Bey
MB Our 4th season in a row in the Europa Conference and I feel we've been unlucky with the draws we've had so far. Where's my Gibraltar, Andorra, Luxembourg, Latvia route into the groups huh ? No change this year as we kicked off against Domzele of Slovenia. Spoiler They looked really rusty and I suspect that if we'd played them in September rather than July it would be a different game completely. Still, it's a game we should have won by a couple, then gave away a stupid penalty given in the 90th minute. Spoiler Genuinely thought I was going to get FM'd here as we hit the woodwork about 5 times and missed chance after chance. Spoiler Next up is Neftci Pesakar from Azerbaijan. There's plenty oil money sloshing about out there, but not much pedigree outside of Almaty. They weren't up to much tbh. Made hard work of this one and they grabbed an undeserved draw. Spoiler After Dundee Utd in the 2nd round last year, it's our 2nd encounter with a team from that area. Shamrock Rovers. Strange game. They could have been 3 up in the first 5 minutes. We scored with our 1st opportunity, then had all the momentum either side of half time until the sending off when they found another level and could have won 3 or 4-1. Spoiler We battered them in the 1st 15 minutes but couldn't get the goal. They held us at arms length after that and were pretty comfortable tbh. Spoiler 3rd round matches our best attempt and is worth around 700k to us. An upgrade to the recruitment passed, but it'll be the last for a few years as still no facilities improvements which are desperately needed, so the Euro cash will be saved for the next few years.
Wee-Bey
MB Our best ever league season so far, most points, most wins, most goals, fewest defeats, fewest conceded. And it still wasn't enough.
Wee-Bey
MB We also made it to the cup final and were 2 up and cruising until it descended into farce. We go again. Youth intake was good this year. 2 straight into the team and another 4 can make a strong push for starting spots. Bogi Hojgaard is the centre back we've been waiting on and will be in the national team before long. Spoiler
Wee-Bey
IF We made a quite catastrophic start to the season in Denmark. We usually do due to the constant high turn over of players, but this was something else. We've steadied the ship now, and are only 10 points off 2nd, but it's likely going to be a 6th season in here.
Wee-Bey
National Team The national side continue to do bits. We were able to keep up the momentum from the Euros and won our Nations League group. Division B next time and guaranteed to be in the world cup playoffs for Japan 2034. Thankful for that guaranteed play off as there's no chance we're getting of this group as we're still 4th seeds in WCQ's. Wee-Bey
IF We lost the 1st game after the winter break, then put together a decent run which surprisingly put us in with a shout of promotion with 4 games to go due to the overall shiteyness of the league. Spoiler A win on the final day against already relegated Nykobing FC would have guaranteed promotion, but the best we could do is a 0-0, our 6th draw in the last 10 games. Spoiler Yet we still somehow went up. Just the worst division tbh and thank f**k we've somehow escaped from it. We set the record for the least goals scored and the lowest points to achieve promotion, 54. We got 56 last year and came 5th !! Spoiler We got another youth intake 4 Danes and 12 Faroese however... Pure dogshit. Better news here as we're going pro. Feels like a big hurdle cleared in this save. Not giving me much to work with here lads. It's going to be a long season.

Wee-Bey
IF We're finding it tough in the SuperLiga. Sitting in the relegation places at the winter break, but I'm quietly optimistic about staying up as the others down there aren't any better and we've got a bit of room in the budget for the January window which will hopefully see us over the line, the league splits after 22 games, so there's some big 6 pointers to come The difference in income in the top league is massive, but no more youth upgrades yet.
Wee-Bey
National Team A tough qualifying group for Japan 2034 and we finished 4th on GD, so likely we'll be 4th seeds again next time. We should of had a point in Dublin and beat the Dutch at home but not to be, the schedule wasn't helpful as we had Holland and Spain away last 2 games. Ireland the surprise package, beating the Spanish and then the Dutch home and away. We still have a playoff thanks to our nations league performance.
Wee-Bey
MB A quite brilliant season ended with us winning the treble !! We beat KI with 5 games to go and managed to see it out. To put it in perspective, this stops KI winning their 11th straight title. Their total of 67 points is their 2nd lowest in that time while their 2 league defeats this season takes their total league defeats over the past 10 years to 15, an average of 1.5 a season. They've had an 'off' season, while we had to be near perfect. We cruised to the season opening SuperCup, but tbf KI usually play their reserves in it. Once we put KI out on penalties, no one was going to stop us in the cup. We got further than ever in Europe this year too. We blew Petrovac of Montenegro away for a club record win before a brilliant 3- 0 2nd leg comeback against Vojvodina of Serbia, probably one of the best results of this save so far. Vaduz were trickier than I thought, but we were then dreaming about the group stages before Cluj pumped us. It certainly flattered them but we saved a bit of respectability in the return leg. These are the lads who created history. At 22 years old, the keeper Eliasen is the elder statesman. We're going to find it tough to replicate this year as Abrahmsen and Petersen are both offski while Erling Justinussen, with 42 goals in 44 league games and 8 goals in 21 caps at the age of 18 is attracting attention from Bundesliga sides, I'd be surprised if he sees another full season here. It was another good intake, but in positions we're already well stocked.
DG.Roma
Chipped away at this over the weekend. Great work! Some challenge, good perseverance, I would have given up long ago. I'm curious, why do your players have numbers after their names? Is it the year the came through?
