D Angelo Barksdale
IF A change to a 3 at the back formation and getting some bodies in the transfer window helped us to stay in the SuperLiga. We weren't getting the results we were due, a real chance too many draws were going to kill us, but we finished the season really strongly after the split. Despite raking in a 15x increase in income compared to the NordicBet Liga, this was all we got in terms of upgrades. I mean, fair play to the board for trying I suppose, but we're only averaging 3,800 atm anyway, it should be well down the list of priorities. Just give me youth upgrades godammit. Over double the current wage budget and a 10x increase in the transfer kitty. I'll be making it rain this summer.
D Angelo Barksdale
National Team So, it turns out winning Nations League Division C doesn't get you a world cup play off, so that was a disappointment. How did we fare in Division B ? Not great was the answer, back down to Division C we go. This year also highlighted how short we are in a couple of positions too. RW and especially in goal. Our 1st choice missed the last 2 games there, the no.2 plays for Ayr United in League 1. We are 3rd seeds for Euro qualifiers now though thanks to our previous and we're certainly in with a shout of qualifying next year from this group.
D Angelo Barksdale
MB Our European adventures started in the Champions League Qualifiers this year, taking on the dudes from Dudelange, Luxembourg. Spoiler Simple enough. Made a full 11 changes for this dead rubber. Next up is a Scandinavian derby against Icelandic champs Fylkir Spoiler We were pretty comfortable, the 2 late goals put a nice gloss on it. Almost made a right c**t of it here with a weakened side, especially after the red card. For the 2nd year in a row, we're up against FC Cluj. Spoiler We should have won this tie, a stupid red card again costing us. We ran them much closer than last year, but they're still a bit better than us. We drop into the Europa League playoffs where we face Greek mob Astris Tripolis Spoiler Absolute scenes in Greece and the greatest result in Faroese club football history. It never flattered us either. 4-1 up on aggregate and cruising until the red. We were barely hanging on in the end and extremely fortunate not to concede again and go to extra time. WE QUALIFIED FOR THE EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP STAGES. Our reward ? A mouthwatering group alongside a couple of household European names, Lazio and AEK Athens plus Scottish side Celtic. Spoiler Predictably, we struggled big time, but competed well enough against AEK and put in a decent backs to the wall performance against a rotated Lazio side in Rome.

I have 8 tiers loaded for Scotland. Premier league has been pretty predictable. Spoiler The Scottish Cup has been a laugh though. Spoiler League Cup Spoiler Current state of play in the Cinch. Spoiler As for the national side, they've been ok, made every major tournament except world cup 22 and 26 but have only made it out of a group stage once. Scott McTominay has just retired with 158 caps and Che Adams' 57 goals makes him the all time top scorer. This list of Scotland managers though...

D Angelo Barksdale
MB We started off like a train this year with 14 straight victories including a 1st ever away league win at KI. Totally dominant stuff. Back to back league titles, but we crawled over the line in the end, absolutely running on empty due to the European run. KI beat us in both the cup and Supercup this year.
D Angelo Barksdale
MB The run to the Europa League Group stage was worth almost 3.5 mil to us, so we got us some of those sweet, sweet upgrades.
D Angelo Barksdale
KI Winter break in Denmark, 5 games before the split. I've kept the back 3 system and spent every penny of my budget and we're establishing ourselves as a midtable side. 1 side already adrift at the bottom, so as long as we don't get caught up in a the battle for the remaining relegation spot, we'll be fine.
D Angelo Barksdale
IF Finished the season well enough to be top of the bottom 6 which means we had a Europa Conference play off, which we won on penalties after being outplayed. A nice wee bonus. I think Europe has come far too early for us, so I'm tempted to sack it next year in an attempt to establish us as a top 6 side. Budgets have increased again for next season, but not enough to be fighting on two fronts imo. Despite a healthy bank balance, no further upgrades from the most unambitious board in world football
D Angelo Barksdale
MB We sadly waved goodbye to our beautiful boy Erling Justinussen. At one point the likes of Sporting Lisbon, Lille and Dortmund were interested, but there were some absolutely insulting offers of 10 grand getting chucked about when he was rated at around 200k. He was getting pretty stroppy at this point. I tried to get him at IF but he didn't fancy it, then out of nowhere the newly crowned Danish champions put in a bid and it was time to let go. He leaves after 85 goals in 80 league appearances for me and 23 goals in 35 caps, the best player the save has produced. Farewell sweet prince x Spoiler
D Angelo Barksdale
National Team Qualifying for Euro 2036 was always going to hinge on the double header with the Russians in June and we produced two great performances to effectively seal 2nd place. We should have actually won in Moscow, we were 2 up, but couldn't hold on. We'll be strutting our stuff in Holland-Belgium next summer. Also, fair play to good old San Marino for conceding just the 101 goals in their group including a 25-0 horsing by the Spanish.
D Angelo Barksdale
MB Once more into the breach of a European campaign. We kick off in the Champions League Qualifiers against the Finnish champions FC Lahti. Spoiler We weren't great here, but deserved at least the draw. Finished the job with minimal fuss at home. A step up in class next against Ferencvaros. Spoiler Glad to get out of here at 2-0 tbh. God only knows how we never conceded another couple. One of the great European nights of this save. We should have won it in both normal and extra time, but held our nerve in the shootout. Slovakian champs Tverna are next. Spoiler They weren't up to much tbh, poor discipline cost us a more comfortable margin. Early goal was key here and we were never in any real danger. Up next... Fenerbahce Spoiler They absolutely dominated us to the point I was delighted to be going away 2-1 down, then the injury time scenes, a proper punch the air, scared the cat, got a dirty look from the missus moment. And then this. It was strangely comfortable, they offered absolutely nothing even after going behind and we won the xG and shot count easily. THROUGH TO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP STAGES. And what a draw it is. Spoiler So far out our depth it was proper painful viewing, we set a record for most goals conceded in a group stage. Madrid could have had double figures in both games. It's a good laugh though.
D Angelo Barksdale
MB Heroics in Europe covered up a shambolic domestic campaign, with our worst points total in 5 years. Too much rotation and being unable to avoid half the team having that orange Rst box permanently against their name. KI also beat us in the SuperCup and the Cup to complete an unbeaten domestic treble, the c***s. We did make 13 million from Europe though, so we got training and youth upgrades plus we are finally turning professional. Moving full time will hopefully help with the player fitness issues, but we've now reached a stage where we need European group stage football to turn a profit.
D Angelo Barksdale
IF Time for some updates I think. Made the top 6 quite comfortably this season and we were locked in a 5 way chase for 2nd before eventually finishing 4th. FC Nordsjaelland might take some catching though. They reached the Conference League final last year and the Champions League QF this year. They have raised Denmark to 6th in the coefficients, so there's 2 group stage CL spots next year. Our 1st ever European campaign was a blow out with defeat to some Austrian jobbers. Managed to grab another couple of upgrades. Youth intake was shite again with no one likely to make the grade here.
D Angelo Barksdale
National Team EURO 2036 Due to our run to the last 16 4 years ago, we were seeded 3rd and drawn in Group B alongside the co-hosts world no.10 Belgium, world no.16 Serbia and 4th seeds Finland. A tough group. A wee boost before the tournament with centre back Morkore voted 2nd best wonderkid in the world. He came through at FC Kobenhavn. Mixed results in the friendlies leading up to the tournament, the Dutch and German results look good, but they're 37th and 25th in the world, we were rocked by 2 bad injuries to 1st teamers in the Greece game, before our captain broke his leg against N.Ireland. Disaster. Spoiler Comfortable enough here, Kallsberg is still class at 33 and the only original player left in the squad. We managed to pick up another tournament ending injury here too. Spoiler Made a poor start and although we had the better of the final hour of the game, we never threatened enough. Spoiler Never really laid a glove on them here and didn't have a shot on goal in the 1st half. Spoiler Which wasn't enough to qualify as one of the best 3rd place teams. We might have made a better fist of it without the injuries as I feel the original squad was better than 4 years ago. We'll lose Kallsberg, but we've got a solid keeper and a good spine aged under 23, we just need a left back and a right winger to come through.
D Angelo Barksdale
MB We regained the title this year, thanks to KI recording their worst points total for 12 seasons, they dropped more points in their first 5 games than they did the whole of last season. Moving to a professional set up helped too, a huge difference in player fitness levels. KI beat us in the SuperCup, but sweet revenge in the Faroese Cup as we won the final with 10 men. The only time we beat them in 5 attempts this season. Europe was a bit of a washout this year, a good win away in Sweden, but should have buried Charleroi in that first leg, but lost 2 stupid late goals.
D Angelo Barksdale
National Team Cruised back up into Division B of the Nations League in a weak group that gave me the opportunity to try some new players. My only worry is becoming a yoyo nation here as we're too good for Division C, but struggled in B last time. Despite still being 4th seeds for the WC Quals. we snagged a great draw which gives us a decent shout of the top 2 considering we've beaten both Holland and Russia in the last year.
