Lowland League General Discussion

A mixture of ego and Kennedy's experience of failing to get Darvel out of WoS due to a playoff defeat and a late collapse might make the option of Clyde quite tempting.

Plus while they are nomads these days, they are an actual football club who've been up to the championship on occasion. EK might have a shiny home, but until the new ground gets built (haven't heard much on that for a while) they might as well be nomads in K Park and it's cage.

They were often in the top division in the old days ( until at least the 1960s).

Interesting to note that the four former league sides occupy the bottom four serious side spots (no offence Gretna and Edinburgh Uni fans)

Don't think its too surprising based on the past few years. Albion Rovers look to be more of a mid-table side once they play catch-up.

I think people in general seriously underestimate how big an adjustment is needed when a club drops into the LL.

Lowland League Cup draw has apparently been made as some Clubs are advertising fixtures but nothin on LL media.

Anyone got details of the draw ?

No wonder the Lowland League gets a hard time when stuff like this happens.

No prior notice of the draw then only 2 ties are announced by the 4 clubs involved. Nothing on the official LL media.
