O'Kelly Isley III Posted February 9, 2023 Share Posted February 9, 2023 (edited) For those of us who grew up in the '60's and '70's today's passing of Burt Bacharach at the age of 94 is sad news. In the current age when terms like genius and legend are freely bandied about, his songwriting coupled with Hal David's lyrics set the gold standard for sophisticated pop music.
