Well done ICT.

We all need to pull together to get rid of the Accies disease in our top flights.

Back to the seaside leagues to stay.

Thank you.

Indeed, well done ICT.

Now carry on the good work against Dundee on Saturday & help keep them in the Championship.

Missed the first 10 - 15 minutes due to a puncture on the M8 but apparently we were quite good at the start of the match. Unfortunately what followed was about 60 minutes of pretty turgid stuff characterised by ICT failing to put in anything resembling a final ball and Accies being staggeringly incapable of passing the ball to their own team mates.

The game seemed to spark into laugh when a very soft free kick saw Smith find the net with the aid of a deflection. The equaliser came after MacKay crossed for Shaw at the back post who saw his initial effort blocked but he was able to bundle in the rebound . And Mckay's winner arrived after he was picked out by Welsh and he coolly passed the ball beyond Fulton to secure a massive three points.

Not a particularly great performance and some players were blowing out their backsides around the 70 minute mark. It was very surprising it took us falling behind before Dodds made any changes. Boyd was disappointing and again Shaw didn't look at his most useful as a 10. The front three that started last night just didn't really work for most of the game although there apparently was a good spell at the start of the game where they all looked lively. The subs likely turned the game for us with MacKay and Samuels, whilst not necessarily turning in stunning performances, brought a good bit of pace to a sluggish team.

Accies were rank rotten. They went through a spell in the second half where they genuinely couldn't find a team mate with a pass despite being under no pressure whatsoever. Hard to see how they are going to avoid either automatic relegation or dropping down via the playoffs.

seeing that first ICTgoal again, Jesus Christ so many individual errors, Zanatta with the loosest of loose passes to Connor Smith who can’t even be arsed fouling the ICT player (he may have already been booked tbf) and weakly tracks back with them, Lawson doing everything but just clearing the ball in a dangerous zone and Sparrow completely losing his man so deciding to feign injury.

The second goal is poor all round again but Lawson plays a weak as piss cross allowing the counter and then lazily tracks back leaving acres of space where he is meant to playing at right back.

Reinforces my point that Tumilty even blowing out his arse prevents both those goals. f**k Rankin.

I said the same thing to my Dad last night after the game. Lawson's had an absolute mare for both goals however he isn't a right back and perhaps should be sheltered from a bit of blame as a result.

Devine should have been off in the first half too IMO. I'm not convinced that would have made us more likely to win, though.

I might be being overly harsh but from the camera angle it looks like Fulton’s positioning is dire for Mckays winner, seems to stand awfully close to his right post

I think you are right. He wasn't particularly brilliant at the first goal either if we wanted to be overly overly picky.

The defending for both of our goals was horrendous. The Hamilton players don’t look arsed at all. Not interested in fully committing to a tackle. The difference in attitude between each side for the goals was remarkable.

Bunch of loan and soon-to-be out of contract players not wanting to put themselves about and risk injury for the sake of a team they won't be playing for next season.

Contrast that to the effort put in to defending the lead in the cup final and you can see exactly who they are playing for.

It all seems to be in slow motion
