Connor7
Well done Aberdeen. Hopefully this gets the ball rolling for more clubs to come out and express there opinion on this sham of a proposed league.

edinabear
Well if Hibs and Aberdeen are both against it then it seems it's a dead rubber anyway. No one else will take the 4th B team slot
Strathman
With Aberdeen being out of it. That makes it even less attractive than it already was for Highland clubs thinking of going into the conference. Hopefully we will hear from more league clubs now.

craigkillie
Queen's Park apparently interested. Imagine fighting your way up the pyramid to play against the B team of a mob that can't even build their own stadium.

Sherrif John Bunnell
Queens Park are just wanting the Conference League buffer for when their money inevitably dries up.
Burnieman
14 hours ago, Gordon EF said: The famous, "why are we asking Stranraer to play Elgin on a Tuesday night" argument. There have been precisely 0 (zero) midweek evening fixtures in League Two this season where a team South of the Central belt has played a team North of the central belt. So there's a good chance these types of fixtures simply never happen over a season, and if they do, they're very likely to be one-offs. Some clubs are always going to rack up the miles no matter the structure of the leagues. The two examples I provided were a Saturday afternoon. The fixture clearly didn't appeal to the visiting clubs fans, and from what I understand, it's fairly common to have so few traveling these sort of distances, just the real diehards.

"The main Board consists of eight members: the Scottish FA Office Bearers (Rod Petrie, President; Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive; and Michael Mulraney, Vice President), plus Neil Doncaster (PGB), Leslie Gray, Thomas McKeown (NPGB) and independent non-executive directors, Ana Stewart and Malcolm Kpedekpo." When Mike Mulraney (Alloa) is crowned at the AGM, I believe Les Gray and Tom McKeown are in line for VP, meaning one of them is next, ie a choice between Hamilton Accies guy and the Scottish Amateur FA bod. Wonder why the SFA is going to shit?
welshbairn
Seems unfair if Thomas Brown doesn't get a bump up to the board after all his hard work.
