Bo'ness United 2023/24

Plus half the teams (like Gretna) aren't exactly appealing fixtures. Cup competitions should throw up interesting / unusual ties. This one feels a bit pointless? Wonder if they'd ever consider playing the first and second rounds early in the season so the matches could be applied to both the league and cup so it's only adding fixtures once it gets to the last 4.

Evening all. I'm interviewing Stuart Hunter on Wednesday for my podcast and wondered if there was anything you wanted to ask him as supporters? If there is anything as well you'd like to share which would enhance the show I'm all ears. Happy to share it afterwards if you are interested.

Ask him what his opinion is on Craig Napier ("referee") and if he reckons he has a grudge against hunts since he sent him off years ago in the Junior cup!

Lucas Stenhouse had a winter training break with the Livingston lads and should have returned by now.  Anybody know why Lucas Stenhouse has missed the last 2 games ?

He is injured apparently. Played in our friendly on the Tuesday and was injured in training next day.. Believe he went with Livi squad on there winter break. We are missing him but Mitchell can soften the blow a little but they would have made a decent strike force together.

0-0 at halftime.     Two very even teams. Chances fairly even.

BU with a back 3 in a 3-1-4-2 formation.

Most annoying thing is both assistant referees have been awful as they are spending all their time looking at the referee to see what he is giving .  So they have missed the ball going out 4 times in 45 minutes.

The BU's were beaten by a better team today.  Colts were far more physical, street wise and created more going forward. They have some good players.

Second half the BU's didn't really get going.  With the BU back 3 all on yellow cards they had to be less physical in the challenge and at times we struggled to get on the ball.  Dalziel managed a lot of flick ons but they weren't falling for our players.

Fitbaw.......it's the hope that kills you !!
