Thanks for bringing this up. Whenever it gets mentioned, I go on YouTube and listen to the clip at least five times in succession. Sometimes it will just pop into my mind randomly and I’ll be compelled to seek it out. It is incredible stuff and genuinely one of the most hilarious lines I have heard on TV in recent times.

Scotland fans should have kept kept quiet. I really don’t get all this sinking to other folk’s levels.

Scotland fans shouldn’t have booed GSTK either nor the England fans singing GSTK and ‘Rule Britannia’ (which was written by a Scot)

Putting aside all political talk, he’s Scotland’s king as well (and I’m not a royalist) and Scotland was very much part of the ‘rule Britannia’ empire.

Not booing these songs would have made the English fans look very stupid for singing them IMO and would actually have wound them up. As it was, they were the ones winding up the Scots.

LMAO @ this loser

I would never say any of the daft things you have quoted there but booing GSTK is not a daft thing. I did and I was on my couch.

Genuinely can't believe how anyone can get upset about it happening. Charlie is an entitled cretin who deserves as much disrespect as any of his "subjects" can throw at him. Also, his hands are horrible.

Yep and sitting on your couch booing is neither daft or stupid. We will boo them on the couches, we will boo them on the toilets, we will boo them in the kitchen , we will boo them searching the internet for pornography, we will boo them ticking our dogs and our cats , we........well, you get the picture.   That's you telt, Charlie lad.

I really can't emphasize how much of a wet wipe, loser you have to be to be offended at booing of a song at a football match.

It's OK apparently for us to chant about England being a shitehole, for them to chant about us getting battered everywhere you go, or for us to harass and bully Harry Maguire. But how DARE you make a noise out your mouth when there's a piece of music playing over the tannoy 🤬😡😡😡😡 absolute disgrace!!😡😡

This bit goes unnoticed, I remembered it from the 2017 game at Hampden as well. Apart from Trippier and maybe Foden their starting 11 all massive, their centre halves are stupidly sized, Dykes looked wee compared to Dunk. So without sounding too much like Gordon Strachan we're on the back foot physically as well.

We probably did quite well not to concede from a set piece.

Whereas vs Spain we were able to ruffle them a bit with physicality, last night they were just bouncing off challenges, so many occasions where Rice or Bellingham got away or held off 2 or 3 players.

One thing that had me signing (I mean one thing among many) was our dogshit kick off where we passed it back then immediately hoofed it aimlessly up the pitch, instantly giving away possession.

I could see them doing this by the way they lined up. England had the ball 3 seconds after KO. It is pathetic and the kind of thing we done with our primary school team.

Keep possession, even playing it back to your defenders and drawing the opposition in to open the game.

Some of them are like when you'd edit a player to have 99 stats on everything in the old ISS Pro games. The likes of Rice and Bellingham seemed to just run through multiple players while they frantically pressed the tackle button to no avail.

Having said that, I thought Bellingham's setup for Kane's goal was really poor defending, and more than that, also displayed a bit of a wee team mentality. There's no chance if it was at the other end a Scottish player would be allowed to turn like that in front of the box. He'd be fouled and dragged down, as players with such a mentality have the arrogance to flatly refuse to let their opposite number win the individual battles.

What part of England have you been to that are anymore of a shitehole than the fruitier parts of Scotland ? I've been to a few but why would I go to a football match and sing about it.  Tediously boring behaviour really. Just like booing a 'song' . Not offensive, not edgy, not revolutionary. Just boring and predictable.

I don't think actually you've been to any football games ever if you need to ask why people enjoy engaging in behaviour that aims to to get a rise out of the opposition and their fans.

Maybe you should go to the rugby instead. I think that would be more up your street. You can stand hand in hand next to the opposition in the stands, sing each others anthems and pish - respectfully - into each others pints to down.

By the way for someone who isn't offended, you're doing a very good job of coming across as extremely rattled.

What the fuck was world class from Bellingham for Kane's goal? He turned Christie in about 6 installments. You see cunts doing that at fives on a Wednesday night down the local community centre.

I’m not saying we were remotely good by saying this, but we did have 40% possession which is probably a lot more than we would generally have in years gone by against a top European team.

Possibly shows how much we have improved in terms of keeping the ball, when we are disappointed with that and our overall performance. Largely we were poor, but we did still have little spells of Gilmour and McGregor keeping the ball well under pressure.

That is a fair point. I know we are much better in possession these days. I just think it is a bit poor to hoof it up the park from kick off and give away the ball instantly.

No , it was just poor defending !

imho Hendry and then  Porteous messed up for their first ( ? ) goal . Fine margins
