Green Brigade Celtic day of action plans laid out as ultras to 'welcome the team' after promise to board

The supporters group are to hold a day of action against the Parkhead club as their row boils on.

The Green Brigade have set out their plans for a "day of action" as their ongoing row with Celtic continues.

The ultras group, who are at loggerheads with the club, were told their 200 members had their season tickets suspended indefinitely due to an “increasingly serious escalation in unacceptable behaviours and non-compliance with applicable regulations," after the supporters section had shown support for Palestine in recent weeks, including during a Champions League match with Atletico Madrid. The Green Brigade were a hot topic at this week's Celtic AGM with the two parties seemingly no closer to a resolution.

The North Curve section of Celtic Park promised a "day of action'"if the row wasn't resolved before Saturday's clash with Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership, and it seems as if the group have set out plans to be at the stadium. A post from the group's Twitter account states they will 'welcome the team' on the Celtic Way before the game.

A time has been set for 1.15pm before the 3pm kick-off after Parkhead chiefs claimed some members of the group wanted to distance themselves from the section. A Green Brigade statement that laid out the "day of action" earlier this month read: "Following the latest reworked statement from the PLC board, we would like to address a few brief points. We see little value in continuing this online game of statement-tennis which was initiated by the PLC board, and which it continues to draw out by repeating the same disingenuous claims that we have already addressed

 "Statement tennis"

I quite like that

That Palma boy put in a few good crosses, heard something about him being injured.  Has Kyogo’s headache cleared up?  Hopefully he won’t be as reckless against us.

Put Mugabi in at the back to cut out any crosses.  Put Butcher about 20 yards out to snap into anyone taking a shot from distance.

Celtic will push up so maybe Biereth can get beyond their defence.

3-0 home win will be respectable.

Palma played twice for Honduras against Mexico over the break, think he’s fine, every other wingers seems to be injured though. Not heard anything about Kyogo.

Always on the ball with any negative Celtic story…

Didn’t see you commenting on your own sexually abusing a young girl in the Dundee thread though.
