Eglinton FC was a tricky game for the BU's.   Lashing down with rain, then sunny.....but all the time a bitterly cold gusty wind made the playing conditions punishing for the players..... ........and the fans.

Bizarre set up down at Kilwinning, the parks for Eglinton and Buffs can be viewed from the sports centre entrance.  Was tempted to keep dry and save a fiver but need to be pitchside to shout encouragement.

Bo'ness down to 10 men.   Masson was fouled and injured by a Broxburn player going in with studs showing and a straight leg .

Referee gave BU's a foul but ridiculous decision not to give at least a yellow card. 

Masson gets up and questions why no card.....gets shown a second yellow and he is off.

Terrible refereeing.

A right Gutsy performance from Boness tonight after the bizarre red card stayed in our shape and could’ve won it at the end

Agree a gutsy performance with the boys all giving 100%.  ............ floodlights and mist made it a difficult watch at times .  

The tackle on Masson was an orange card IMO......i.e.at least a yellow and sometimes it's a red. For the referee to only have a chat with the Broxburn player was nothing short of a disgrace.  Referee was the worst I have seen for at least a decade.  So far out of his depth it was embarrassing .  ........only thing I could say in his defence was that the Broxburn players conned him throughout the game with their dives, squeals and complaining.

11 v 11 in the first half was very even with the two sides cancelling each other out. After the red card I expected Broxburn to dominate but the BU's matched them for effort and ground out a draw.  

MOTM for me was Porteous.

Broxburn a very decent team with no obvious weaknesses.  Should be no need for their cheating antics.

The baldy Broxburn player was on the referee's shoulder most of the game.......should have just given him the whistle .  At a Bo'ness corner he just fell to the ground holding his head and rolled about when nobody had touched him #embarrassing
