My word, your persistent antipathy towards me has driven you to post a most puzzling series of words that completely miss my light hearted point. Did I mention Corbyn is a current Labour MP? Would Gordon Brown remain a labour member who is very serious and senior?

Is it serious? Is it likely? When do you think the House of Lords will cease to exist?
NotThePars
and this offer of federalism... Is it serious? Is it likely? When do you think the House of Lords will cease to exist?I think Corbyn is totally sincere in what he says and also think he has f**k all influence on the future trajectory of the current Labour Party

Aye, ok.
williemillersmoustache
I'm a big fan of this podcast anyway and would highly recommend it but, Joyce McMillan eviscerating Starmer and Labour around 34 minutes in this week is particularly pleasing. https://www.thebiglight.com/talkmedia

Salt n Vinegar
With Labour struggling to lay a glove on the Tories at Westminster, as far as I can work out the only purpose that the Labour Party has is to stop Ian Murray MP having to look for a job.

williemillersmoustache
"We need to listen more to Scotland" And then go right on ignoring them after we've done all that listening. Lovely to see the "Labour can't win without Scotland" shite just rolled out as if its solid gold truth, so they can blame us for England electing the tories again. At some point it might be nice to have someone explain to Keith and to journalists in general that it is not Scotland's responsibility, nor is it in our interest to deliver England a Labour government it didn't vote for and which demonstrably couldn't give less of a f**k about what we might want.
ICTJohnboy
I used to find Kay Burley intensely irritating, but more and more now she's become one of the few doing a decent job of holding politicians to account. This morning, interviewing Labour MP, Wes Streeting who was, naturally extolling the virtues of Keir Starmer as Labour leader, she put it to him that although BoJo has been sacked from a previous job for lying, has accepted freebie holidays, has been found guilty of trying to protect his mates, has been accused of presiding over a sleaze ridden government, etc, etc, the list is endless, and yet he's still more popular than your leader? Ouch!
Detournement
Brown ruined his reptuation with Iraq but at least he shows it's possible to have leaders who aren't money grabbing scum like Blair, Cameron or Obama.
