As neither a Unionist or Catholic, she'll state that I could never understand her position on the matter because I have never faced it......but what I can say for certain is that sharing these views, in Scotland, will get her nowhere. If I remember right they have to call themselves PPC (Prospective Parliamentary Candidate) when selected but before an election is called. If they call themselves Candidate their election expenses start and she would have blown the budget for her GE campaign long before the election is called, as every leaflet and promotion she did would have to be an election expense and chargeable on her returns to the Returning Officer after the GE. It a way of campaigning without it being an election expense. She can still be deselected but if she calling herself prospective she will almost undoubtedly have been nominated and will be the PPC for the constituency party.
