Musketeer Gripweed
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus) Francesco Toldo (Inter Milan) Angelo Peruzzi (Lazio). Defenders: Christian Panucci (AS Roma) Fabio Cannavaro (Inter Milan) Alessandro Nesta (AC Milan) Gianluca Zambrotta (Juventus) Massimo Oddo (Lazio) Giuseppe Favalli (Lazio) Matteo Ferrari (Parma) Marco Materazzi (Inter Milan). Midfielders: Stefano Fiore (Lazio) Mauro Camoranesi (Juventus) Simone Perrotta (Chievo Verona) Cristiano Zanetti (Inter Milan) Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan) Andrea Pirlo (AC Milan) Forwards: Francesco Totti (AS Roma) Christian Vieri (Inter Milan) Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus) Bernardo Corradi (Lazio) Marco Di Vaio (Juventus) Antonio Cassano (AS Roma) At first glance a very strong squad. I have my doubts about the attacking options the midfield will bring though. Very strong up front, but Vieri will end up injured, Totti in a strop and Del Piero is a diddy No Inzaghe there, I always thought he was very over-rated anyway
David W
Defensively fine. I didn't know Peruzzi was still playing!! Midfield looks a bit dodgy though, only the AC Milan boys are top class.
Baggio
At first glance a very strong squad. I have my doubts about the attacking options the midfield will bring though. Very strong up front, but Vieri will end up injured, Totti in a strop and Del Piero is a diddy No Inzaghe there, I always thought he was very over-rated anyway someone was telling me italy will be playing at least three up front which is a bit drastic for them so i imagine the midfield will be quite defensive as a result. Del Piero is the man. he will surprise you all Buffon is the best keeper in the world - they will be very very difficult to score against. Inzaghi however is a lightweight diddy and am delighted to see he isn't there.

arab_joe
mildfield looks awfullt thin in comparsion to the likes of portugal, france and even england. if they go all out though (4-3-3) then i can see them causing some real problems to defensive teams! del piero is one of the best players in europe over the last 7-8 years - inzaghi is a divin wee tube.
