Adam
I've texted Booth, if he can give me a lift then I can play, otherwise I won't have enough time to get home from uni and pick the kids up.
dave258
I'm picking up Adam and my mate Alan can play. One more needed...

ShakehandsTom - DFC
Well Done on getting the 10 grafters mate. Apologies to all for the bit of a mess it's created by booking it early, I'll make sure we're going to get the numbers before booking it next week.
dave258
It's catch 22 - book early and get an 8pm slot or late and get half 9. Best to book early and cancel a few days before if we don't have 7 or 8 names.
David W
That was the best game in a while; really enjoyed it. I'm in for next week!

I'm happy to book it tomorrow for next week, and if we don't have names by the latest cancellation time, I'll cancel it. I think if I book it tomorrow, it would need to be cancelled by Saturday, so lets start getting numbers for next week now, although I'm out.
Fudge
I'm out. Rome area 5's.
Adam
Dave was saying that he has already booked it, I think. Good game, but my first touch was pretty terrible. I will rule myself out for next week, got an essay due next Thursday so that's my week ruined.
dave258
I booked it for 8 although I won't be there - Brussels area 5s.
Jambo Stu
I think we should scrap this now to be honest. 3 regulars down a week out is not a good start.
ShakehandsTom - DFC
If no-one has any objections (with good reason) I'll cancel this this later today, as its looking unlikely already that we'll get the numbers for it.
dave258
Oh, and they've bumped the price up to £57 for a peak time game now. We also owe them £3 as I only had £54 when paying as Kaz was late getting there and everyone else had only paid £5.50. I'd suggest telling Powerleague to get to f**k at those prices. Glasgow Green's pitches are £35 for an hour (and are of better quality) and as quite a few of us drive now wouldn't be dificult to get to. Anyone keen on exploring this option?

Smurph
Glasgow Green wouldn't be too much of a problem for me. It's a longer distance away and I use public transport, but by the looks of things I can still get a bus straight there.
David W
I'd be happier with cheaper fives as well.
ShakehandsTom - DFC
Cancelled for next week. I'd also entertain the idea of a more cost-effective game of GA5's.
Sir Kevin Of Kilsyth
Cancelled for next week. I'd also entertain the idea of a more cost-effective game of GA5's. The Bing through in Kirky is free as far as I know.
Chief Oil Trifle
I've joined a league that play on Monday nights, might see you boys around.
CM.
The Bing through in Kirky is free as far as I know. Better quality pitches too, with a pub just round the corner. Heaven.
