My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

Talk us through this one more like.

Tuneless noise is how I would describe it. It may very well be all arty and hip, but they do nothing for me I'm afraid.

Ride did the 'shoegazing' thing so much better.

Chilli Peppers - By the Way

Oasis - Morning Glory

The Smiths - Louder than Bombs

They are my top 3. The best. B)

Edited:: The new Morrisey album is superb too. Well worth the money.

I enjoyed Ride as well, saw them at the Calton Studios not long after their first album came out. They weren't in the same league as MBV IMHO.

No such record as The White Album, its called The Beatles ;)

I was going to put A Night At The Opera in, but remember the abuse I got the last time

It'll always be The White Album to me :P (mind you it's a dirty yellow off-white now! No. 87481)

So what's a little abuse - where's the strenght of your convictions!

Aye, its The White Album to me as well, but I knew some pedant would pick me up on it ;)

To be honest with Queen these days, I struggle to defend them. They really do look cringeworthy any time I see them on telly. Apart from Roger of course B)

No particular order

Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd

First and Last and Always - Sisters of Mercy

Remember - Doll by Doll

Script for a Jester's Tear - Marillion

Never for Ever/The Dreaming - Kate Bush (I can never make up my mind which one)

Sure, they're cringeworthy now, but who needs to defend them, and it doesn't alter the fact that "Opera" is and always will be a "classic"!
