A 66 for Marc Warren today and currently tied for 25th.  Might end a couple places down from there but given himself a chance.

If he is within a shot or two a 65 or 66 tomorrow should get the job done.

Not much hope for the rest of the Scottish players though unless they shoot very low 60s tomorrow.

Duncan Stewart also in with a 66 today to get to 12 under to retain a chance. Scoring so far would suggest that 18 under final total will be required to make the top 25 (possibly 17 under).

That would mean Warren needs a 4 under round tomorrow and Stewart 6 under for both to get to 18 under.  (Course is par 71).

The other 2 Scots would need something extraordinary.

Stewart and Warren both currently joint 24th.

Stewart finished at 15 under. Decent effort but currently joint 27th so will almost certainly miss out.

Warren 17 under with 3 holes to go. Currently joint 20th.  Good chance if he can stay at that score. Definitely in if he could get to 18 under.

Edit add Warren has double bogey 5 on 17. Back to 15 under alongside stewart and currently on joint 26th. Warren will almost certainly need to birdie 18.

Warren double bogeys 17 to fall to 26th !!

and birdies 18 to go back to joint 20th. He should be in hopefully.

Edit to add that the Spanish golfer David Borda who was 16 under after 2 rounds has birdied 16 to get back into top 25 after plummeting out of the places. definitely a marathon rather than a sprint this event  Borda then bogeys 17 to go back to tied 26th

Warren should be okay but with 2 par 5s in the last 3 holes the potential for a strong finish is there for those behind him.

I expect he'll be in for a nervous 45 minutes or so.

Stewart - and many others - up to joint 25th.

Those on 15 under (including Stewart) have just gone to tied 25th. I expect they will drop out again but Warren at 17 under will be fine. Warren`s double bogy at 17 was in fact a bogey so he`s tied 17th now.

A sickener for Stewart, especially as he was 16 under with 6 or 7 holes to play.

Well done to Warren though. Hopefully he can find some of the form that got him into the top 50 in the world and kick on.

I noticed Syme started and finished with a 66 but played the four middle rounds in level par.  So frustrating.
