tigerton
So anyone who happens to be away from the telly on New Year's Night won't miss out. Also an added bonus of choice of commentary for those watching it.
The Naitch
Also an added bonus of choice of commentary for those watching it. Chris Mason has been helping out with the BBC website previews so hopefully he'll be involved in the commentary. That alone would convince me to stick the telly on mute and get the radio on.
tigerton
The Ally Pally is deed and there's still a match to come!

That alone would convince me to stick the telly on mute and get the radio on. Mason's Twitter has made for pathetic reading at times this week. Constantly having digs at Sky, and particularly Wayne Mardle. Bitter, bitter, bitter...
Davis Love III
Ten years ago since Painter lost that World Final to Taylor. Can still remember it vividly. And this year, he's probably further away from winning the World Championship than at any point since. BerwickMad
The Ally Pally is deed and there's still a match to come! As annoying as the crowd have been, i can't blame them for leaving now. Kevin Painter and his constant frown, even when laughing, is enough to make anyone give up on life.

I've always liked Painter's frown and grimaces...

Start the games earlier or cut down the adverts and you'll stop getting matches starting at half 11. This match has the potential to be 4 or 5 sets as well. The crowd also have to get out in time for the last tube I assume. Oh and it's definitely necessary to have Wayne's Fancy Dress on now as well.

Bitter, bitter, bitter... Yeah, I've noticed that over the last few weeks. As long as that doesn't start to seep into his TV work then he'll still be worth a listen.

Couple of ad breaks, lengthy interview with Kev and then Wayne's wee moment in the sun.
Davis Love III
Sky have been in no rush whatsoever tonight. Couple of ad breaks, lengthy interview with Kev and then Wayne's wee moment in the sun. I'm not complaining. Love a bit of post-midnight darts...which reminds me of Denis Ovens. Any excuse to post this....
The Naitch
This one will be over soon enough, anyway. Though if Seyler gets his act together we'll be here past 1am.

That would be good...although I think 3-0 is on the cards. Good performance from Painter so far.

We Are Pars Fans!
Taylor at evens is hard to argue with. Fancy Lewis to get to the final if he doesn't meet Taylor en route.
Marshmallo
Taylor at evens is hard to argue with. Fancy Lewis to get to the final if he doesn't meet Taylor en route. If it goes to seeding it's MVG-Lewis in the semi final, with the winner playing Taylor. -
tigerton
Is it just me, or does the second round look pretty poor on paper? Not excited by any of those games
