Marshmallo
Hamilton was brilliant but don't forget that Whitlock won 11-9 on legs. -

The Naitch
Got an e-mail from Ticketmaster saying the tickets for Aberdeen are on sale tomorrow Oh right, I'll have a look in the morning to see if the Glasgow tickets go on sale tomorrow ... went to it in 2009 and it was good to see top darts in the flesh. EDIT: Just seen your edit. Edited October 7, 2010 by The Naitch

The Naitch
Wade was a bit shaky in that final set but took out 100 to win the match 3-1.
The Naitch
Are they not doing something stupid like four wildcards this year ? Aye, they changed the rules .. top four in the OOM with four wildcards (2 PDC picks and 2 Sky picks).
F_T_Y
Aye, they changed the rules .. top four in the OOM with four wildcards (2 PDC picks and 2 Sky picks). Anderson will defo get a wildcard pick then.
Davis Love III
Aye, they changed the rules .. top four in the OOM with four wildcards (2 PDC picks and 2 Sky picks). Seems a bit daft at first. But I guess the OOM system can create a fairly stagnant top 6. John Part played in 09 when in reality in terms of results he was probably 20-25th on the circuit at that point. So, gives them the chance to keep it fresh every year. Neilly
I fully agree with the 4 wildcards decision it gets rid of the players who have become stagnant at the PL and gives other players a crack at it and the chance to earn the big bucks. So will it be Taylor,Barney,Wade, King and 4 wildcards? Anderson is a dead cert, Whitlock as well, I thought Nicholson would be as well but unless he does something between now and January his place could be in jeapordy.

I would guess Anderson and Whitlock will be two of the four. The others I would imagine will be up and coming players they are looking to give a push ala Klaasen a couple of years ago. Sky will probably go for Nicholson as he plays the pantomime villain very well. Lewis should take the other spot as he is potentially brilliant to watch. Although if someone has an excellent run in the World Championship they will get picked. -

Lewis has had his chance imo.Yes he is great to watch but he has been in it twice before. They should give it to someone different. But the pl is all about putting bums on seats so whitlock nicholson and anderson are all certain.
