The Naitch
UK Open Qualifying 7 Fourth Round Vincent van der Voort 6-5 Mark Webster Wayne Jones 6-1 Alan Tabern Andy Hamilton 6-4 Denis Ovens Phil Taylor 6-3 Matt Padgett Adrian Lewis 6-5 Nigel Heydon Gary Anderson 6-1 Arron Monk Mervyn King 6-3 Wes Newton Gary Welding 6-4 Robert Thornton Quarter-Finals Wayne Jones 6-3 Vincent van der Voort Phil Taylor 6-3 Andy Hamilton Gary Anderson 6-5 Adrian Lewis Mervyn King 6-2 Gary Welding Semi-Finals Phil Taylor 6-3 Wayne Jones Gary Anderson 6-3 Mervyn King Final Gary Anderson 6-2 Phil Taylor Anderson continuing his good form and, as well as the above, beat Big Hendo, Mark Hylton and Ronnie Baxter on his way to victory. Well earned victory! Good run from Gary Welding... remember him doing a bit of damage at the Worlds a few years back then fell away dramatically. Oh, and Chissy hit a nine-darter in his first round defeat against Mark Webster.
Neilly
Is that not Chissy's second 9 darter of the year?
The Naitch
Is that not Chissy's second 9 darter of the year? Yep, can remember him hitting one earlier in the year. Will be good to see the likes of him and Big Hendo make good progress at the UK Open at the start of June.

The Naitch
http://www.pdc.tv/page/NewsdeskDetail/0,,10180~2351000,00.html That's the full list of qualifiers for the UK Open ... Rafa aka Gary Mawson hasn't made it which is a shame as I loved his run to the final a few years back. They'll need to sort the typos out on that article, though.. they've got Anderson, Thornton and Henderson all down as English!
Neilly
Apparently Anderson had a 130 average beating Aaron Monk 6-1 on the way to the final yesterday. That is frightening arras, 4 x 11 darters.

The Naitch
Whats whitlock playing at !! looks like he has just turned up and expected to win He wasn't taking this match at all seriously in the first leg and he's not really recovered from it. Webby in control now - that was some 127 to break throw. Whitlock has Taylor next week so this match was must win - he's blown it big time I think.
northernscum
It's not the best of quality this game but i'm still enjoying it. Pretty nip and tuck all the way, it looks like heading for a draw.
The Naitch
Bad result for Whitlock.. don't see him making the play-offs now. Ando vs Barney up next!
northernscum
Webster looks chuffed to bits to take a point from that game, poor bugger, this tournament must have shred his brains!

The Naitch
Poor stuff from Anderson tonight.. taking his foot off the pedal now that he's already qualified.
Desert Nomad
As soon as Barney got ahead Anderson didn`t look interested, it`s what seperates everyone from Taylor. When Taylor is behind he never looks disinterested.

northernscum
Poor stuff from Anderson tonight.. taking his foot off the pedal now that he's already qualified. Yeah, he still has a major problem keeping his concentration when the darts are not hitting the target the way he wants. He is fine when the 60's are going in no problem but as soon as a few go a stray you can see in his body language that it is getting to him. He may have already qualified, but he needs to get that sorted out if he is going to win this thing.
