F_T_Y
Grand slam is my favourite event behind the lakeside, good to see they have got rid of the women.Who can forget waites comeback in the final last year, one of the best ever in darts.I hope sky stick with interviewing both the players after the match.but i suspect some rod harrignton bashing the BDO players.

MTJ
Latest on the grapevine is Steve and Tony West will be going to Q School, Ted Hankey too. I really find this one difficult to believe though, apparently O'Shea will be offered a PL wildcard. He'd get the crowd going, but I'm not convinced his darts are good enough at this point in time to justify it if it were to be the case. DomDom
I reckon if O'Shea spent some time on the Pro Tour he'd do well. He'd get smashed about right now though.

These rumours always happen this time of the year, there is no way someone from the bdo will get offered a PL place. The count trying to get into the PDC ? dont believe it for a second.

If Scott Waites was to win the Lakeside, they'll be taking the cash in wheel barrows to his front door. Hearn doesn't seem the type to bare grudges, he wants who he thinks will bring in the most money. Agree with Dom I reckon O'Shea would be revitalised to some extent by a move. By all accounts too O'Shea missed some reason County matches to play with PDC players. Edited October 29, 2011 by MTJ

Marshmallo
Chisnall beat two former world champions and a former runner up, superb run from him. Hopefully Barney's run is a sign of things to come. -

Hopefully Barney's run is a sign of things to come. Today was the first time that Barney has beaten Taylor in nearly three and a half years but Barney needs to have a good run at the Grand Slam and, even more so, at the Worlds if he's to regain his form. DomDom
James Wade continuing to be solid as f**k so far. The #2 player in the world without question.
The Naitch
Barney's beaten Taylor for the second day in a row - knocked The Power out in the 3rd Round. Webby hit a nine darter in the 1st round and Whitlock had to pull out after doing his ankle in. It's only sprained but hopefully it doesn't rule him out of the Grand Slam.
Fraser Fyvie
Jamie Caven has just pumped Wade 6-0 Onto Barney, a good weekend and hopefully can have good runs at the GSOD and WC. He should have years left in him, just look at Taylor still winning in his 50s.
DomDom
Jamie Caven has just pumped Wade 6-0 Blip. Barney is clearly playing with confidence, but we all know that this doesn't normally last long with him. It doesn't take much, especially in front of a crowd, to knock his head out of whack.

The Naitch
Heard that Anderson condeded his match today when he was 5-4 up! He was 5-4 down, apparently it was down to the heat. Mervyn King and Wes Newton have made it through to today's final.
