The Naitch
We've got ourselves a wee nine dart shoot out between Webster and Newton later.
The Naitch
Michael Smith got played like a fiddle by Hankey. Smith was beeling by the end of that. Still, it's good to see the panto villain through to the last 16.
Dougie Mills
Sweet arrows from Anderson to pump Wright 5-1. This of course sets up the inevitable rolling over and letting Taylor tickle his belly!
Davis Love III
Sweet arrows from Anderson to pump Wright 5-1. This of course sets up the inevitable rolling over and letting Taylor tickle his belly! He's certainly on the edge of the pocket, but he's not quite as deep into it as a few others... Roland Scholten will forever be the ultimate pocket man...26 meetings...26 defeats against Taylor. Although, Kevin Painter is pushing it. That's 30 meetings against Taylor and just one win...(2001 World Grand Prix).

Anderson really does have a habit these days of playing brilliantly one game and following it up by throwing a bag of nails the next though!
Neilly
That's not a habit these days though is it that has been him throughout his career. The only time he played consistently well was the World Champs when he was averaging a tonne the full tournament before being beaten in the final. Brilliant last 16 line up some absolute belters in fact every game is worth a watch.
Desert Nomad
Enjoying this tussle between Hamilton & O'Shea. Silverback in the zone.

Desert Nomad
And O'Shea takes it 10-7. Absolutely superb stuff from Silverback.
Marshmallo
Yeah I really enjoyed that too. It's a shame that O'Shea and a couple of others won't move across, they'd be a very welcome addition to the TV tournaments instead of the likes of the Pieman, Osborne or Wayne Jones. -
Desert Nomad
Bull bull X16 finish to kick things off for Thornton!
The Naitch
He started with that bull, bull, D16 and ended it with a 161. Brilliant.

Davis Love III
I notice that there is an "MJ Out" sign amongst the crowd. No rest for the Kilmarnock supporters.

Davis Love III
Hankey is absolutely steaming. I said that last year, and it turned out that he had suffered a stroke. So, I shall refrain from commenting this time...
The Naitch
Hankey was 6-1 down and throwing some rancid darts. He's dragged Whitlock down to his level and it's now 8-7 Hankey. Wow.
