dogmc
Glasgow need next score here. Would like to see a wee chip over the top every so often to counter the Leinster defence blitzing

Mark Connolly
Tommy Seymour (the real Big T) was magnificent. Any other Lions coach and I'd say he had already booked his ticket to NZ. Lacey his inconsistent best, although he at least got the big decisions right in the last 5 mins, when he finally started penalising Leinster from coming in the side. Lots of great performances - Tommy, Simone Favaro, Tim Swinson and Fraser Brown all had huge games. Very pleased by Corey Flynn too - just a cameo, but the very reasons we got him. Only 2 or 3 carries, but they all made ground, and more importantly, his throwing was bang on on all the key lineouts in those last few minutes. Away to the champions and home to the runners-up to start - 10 match points to Glasgow, no bonus points conceded. Some statement to start the season.

Cardiff away next week then home to the fans who act like total weans, ulster. Gutted it's such a horrid European group cos Glasgow look right on it this season.
ajwffc
Then home to the fans who act like total weans, . You have described 3 out 4 of the Irish sides.

dogmc
I've always considered Connacht more a 3rd Scottish team than a 4th Irish one, given their treatment by the press, the IRFU and the refs. Always had close links with the old north n midlands....least regarded districts in either nation, played each other a lot in friendly warm ups before old inter district tourney

ajwffc
Spose but ulster take it to another level. Always hilarious witnessing their seethe n mewling Leinster fans are running them close tonight. Complaining about Glasgow getting let-off with high tackles and coming in from the side (but only after Glasgow went ahead in the 2nd half

Mark Connolly
We've just horsed the defending champions and runners up, and Toony says there is more to come. http://www.glasgowwarriors.org/news/16/09/10/townsend-there-more-come-our-players

Think there's an element of Glasgow boys wanting to give toony a send off and also making sure they are on his mind for Scotland. Glad to hear sky commentators talking up our lads for lions in last 2 weeks. Still don't trust gatland to pick them though.
D.A.F.C
Got tickets for the champions cup at murrayfield next year. Do you think it's possible for a Scottish team to make it?
dogmc
Ulster fans are something else. Bunch of fannies. Imagine going along to the Munster-Glasgow final a couple of years back with the sole purpose of booing Matawalu.Glad to see Glasgow start well. No World Cup to distract them this year either. This....nico certainly made most of the challenge but it was high and off the ball. If refs didn't let irish teams away with murder nico wouldn't have had to highlight it.
dogmc
No reason why they can't. Saracens won it last year who are clearly very good given they were top seeds along with Glasgow last year but, in my opinion, don't have a fantastic squad. A very good squad but not fantastic. Certainly not as good as Racing 92 who were runners-up. Sarries have McCall as their head coach who, like Toonie, has worked his way up and has clearly instilled a sense of togetherness in the squad. They respect him. Likewise, the Warriors team respect Toonie you'd imagine. No reason why Warriors can't make the final. No idea about Edinburgh - they no longer have worldwide superstar Allan Jacobsen playing for them. Edinburgh aren't in champions cup and Glasgow have the © GROUP OF DEAAAAATH. Not impossible but very very difficult for the weeg.
