I went on a travel club bus to Tynecastle in the late 80s. It went the Eaglesham route. We then had to wait for ages as a few folk decided to steal the Merry down from the Spar in Eaglesham. Can't remember if we had to wait on the police or not.

It's kinda similar to when we appointed Lee Bullen. Someone from outside the usual suspects in Scotland but not an amazing pedigree as a manager or coach. However he's still young enough to make a name from himself. From what I remember of him as a player he always reacted to getting dugs abuse for being a Killie and didn't like it Lots of sneaky wee gestures to the Somerset Road end that had folk spitting venom or running to the polis raging

We're looking at possibly getting one for next year. Much easier to drive somewhere further from Ayr to do a hill and just camp than making a long drive back or pay ever increasing ridiculous hotel prices. We went to the cycle shop in Killie that is now a tent box dealer to see a couple of them. Saw the Cargo which is the most expensive in the Tentbox brand. Weird shape but pretty rugged and up and down in seconds. Also the classic which is the rectangular one. I much preferred this. Bit bigger and more room inside. Also up and down quickly as it uses gas struts. One thing you will need to look out for is your cars static roof load limit. My other half has a jeep renegade and it's static weight is 70kg. The Classic weighs 66kg and the Cargo 74. Kg. So by the time we add decent roof bars to hold the tent box on both of these aren't ideal This leaves us the Lite which takes a bit longer to get up and down(the wedged shaped orange one above)or the brand new Tentbox Go which was just released last week. Both much lighter than the Cargo and Classic. We're going to Peebles in a few weeks and hopefully we'll see the other 2 as we're planning to nip into Calders Cars in East Calder as they're the other Tentbox dealers. Quite a few brands about though. Ventura seem to be the other ones we've seen a few of around

He also said he'd been doing one to one coaching. The one particular thing he mentioned was about working with Jake Hastie . Said he'd been doing sessions with him getting him to go by players with his right foot instead of just his left.. First thing Hastie done when he came on was cruise by someone on his right foot.

I was actually amazed he didn't go back and give him a red for that challenge. He absolutely clattered Hastie from behind

I actually didn't think Raith were that bad today. Actually thought they might nick one when we couldn't add a second. We didn't create as many chances as usual. No bad performances but we look a better team when Watret starts at right back. What a player he looks to be. Good to see Paddy Reading looking a lot more confident and Jake Hastie looking decent when he came on. Even Walker starting to contribute.

Might be your job up first with your current pointless start to the season and looking like crashing out of Europe twice

If he's still fit he'd be an excellent signing. In the defensive midfield mould similar to N'Golo Kante. Kinda what we need tbh. Along with a right back and third striker. Keep it simple and let Rus and Dempsey do the flashy stuff. Was really good with Morton.

Aye the Falkirk comment from last season was interesting. He saw what we did that we couldn't get out of own half eventually
