I realise that this won't be an issue for many, but the Edinburgh game being on the Sunday means that it will likely clash with the women's team's game the same day. While we don't tend to get many fans at the women's games, even if you ignore the fact they're playing at Ochilview (admittedly I wasn't at the Hearts game, so don't know how many were there) it doesn't help to encourage people to go along and support them if it clashes with the men's team. -

They wore the black and white kit (with yhe new sponsor) yesterday at home. Hopefully black and white will continue to be the home kit (even though the current design is terrible) Just a guess, but is it possible that the new home kits weren't ready in time for the squad photos being taken? -

I spoke to him before the Kelty game. He's expecting to be out for the full season. -

The Community teams aren't actually part of the Club though, they come under the Foundation which is a separate entity and can enter into a different arrangement for kit supply (not to mention the fact that the Foundation wouldn’t/couldn't shell out for Adidas kits for a 150 kids). I assume the claim about Macron not being able to supply enough stock is with regards to the accademy and b team and all their coaches etc. as these squads are all part of the Club. Of course just to confuse things, the women's team are part of the Foundation, but wear Adidas the same as the teams under the Club. I assume they wear Adidas to (rightly) show greater parity with the men's team, where as there isn't the same need for the illusion of parity between the Community teams and the accademy. For what it’s worth, in my opinion the Community kit is much better than both this seasons Adidas kit and last year's 1st team Macron kit (and a huge upgrade on the previous cheap nasty Community kits) -
One other a quirk of the QP & Airdrie games that season was that QP didn't win a single game in 90 minutes yet still got promoted over Airdrie. If that's not unique then it must be rare. Both cup games were draws that went to penalties, the four league games were two home wins for Airdrie and two draws. And both playoff legs were draws with QP winning in extra time of the 2nd leg.

Yes, I've got one that you're welcome too. If you're still looking for one I can bring it along tomorrow and drop it in to you at the souvenir shop before kick off. -

The new community kit is really good (my son got his a few weeks ago, and his team won their first game that they wore it in) quite similair to last years home kit but with a few improvements in my opinion. The quality is pretty good too, especially compared to the kids previous kit which felt like it was made of tissue paper. I'd have been quite happy for the first team to be wearing that kit this season. It's a completely bespoke kit (albeit probably just a tweak of last years Macron kit). It's infuriating that we can arrange a bespoke kit for our community teams, but can't manage that for our first team(s). Last year's 3rd kit is still a bug bear of mine. I spent about £100 to get one for each of my kids and we didn't even wear it for one match. It doesn't help that the marketing pictures in George Sqare featured Simon Murray, only for him to leave about a week later The Admiral kit for me is the best home kit we've ever had. I still can't make my mind up about the poka-dot away kit, but it will always be linked in my mind with that playoff final and the celebrations afterwards. -
⚫️⚪️Queens Park vs Thistle🔴🟡 -9th March 2024

We did most of that while we were still amateur. Robertson and Shankland being the current examples. We've been fan owned since 1867. Our women's team still are amateur and seem to be doing pretty well. However, I will concede that Thistle Women were the better team in our recent Scottish Cup encounter. -
Ryan Mullen couldn't even get in our team when we were strolling League 2. He was kept out of our team by the guy Ferrie comfortably kept out the team the following season.

According to the website the social club is open to home fans only tomorrow. Supporters Bar 1867 – As the club have launched initiatives for Members, Season Ticket Holders, club sponsors and business partners to bring a friend along for the game it is anticipated there will be increased numbers seeking access to Bar 1867 on the day and therefore we have restricted access to Bar 1867 to be for Home fans only on the day. Bar 1867 will open from 12:30.pm until 2.45pm and then immediately after the game with admittance after the final whistle also limited to Home supporters.

Thanks very much to @Dave for doing the research, that I couldn't be bothered to do, to answer the above question on the latest episode of the Spiders Talk Podcast. I'm not going to tell you what he discovered, so you'll have to listen to the podcast yourselves to find out -

Did Bell ever play a first team game? Wikipedia says he has 1 appearance, but I don't remember that. -

We have had quite a few players move on from QP and go on to be capped for Scotland, but does anyone know the last time we signed someone who has previously been capped for the Scotland 1st team? (not including Callum Davidson) -

The match report for the Thistle game last Tuesday on our website mentioned that Hepburn was missing due to illness. Make of that what you will, but it may be that he'll be back in she squad one he has recovered?
