Why has so much of the squad discussion been about who we'd want to bring on if chasing a game? What about who to bring on when we need to see a game out?

On the subject of Mr Graham, thought I'd mention how great a job he did this season. It's one thing to be the league's top goalscorer, but some of his defending in the playoffs was excellent and he was like an assistant manager out there, always making sure everyone was in the right place at set pieces and throw ins. There's so much more to him than simply scoring against every other team in the division.

There was a point in the not too distant past when I'd have rather welcomed Sevco to Firhill than gone within one hundred miles of Dingwall. The pain has somewhat healed, but I'd feel much more comfortable facing Raith next season than them.

Should there really be more yellows given out in run-of-the-mill league games than in playoff matches? If it's a yellow, it's a yellow; you shouldn't get a free pass because it might disadvantage a team in an important match. That Uruguayan deserved his red in '86, regardless of when it was in the match. And to think that any referee in the country really gives enough of a f**k who wins between Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers to risk their reputation. My word. Never put down to malice what can be explained by incompetence.
