Another very solid display from young Lennon today, apart from when he nearly gifted them a goal before our equaliser. This guy has come on leaps and bounds amidst a shitstorm involving his poor family and he’s certainly made me eat my words when I questioned if he was good enough for this level. Fair play to him. The only thing that concerns me at this stage is any injuries involving our regular starters because I don’t think any of the bench warmers look like they could come in and do a similar job.

That’s a very good 3 points in what was horrid conditions. I thought we dealt with Clyde well in the first half and we looked a lot more dangerous than they did with the wind at our backs. For a team fighting for their lives I found Clyde’s 2nd half tactics bizarre. The weather was obviously brutal but they were quite literally camped in their own half the entire 2nd half and the goalie got booked for time wasting after 57 minutes. Even with the wind at your back defending can be dodgy so surely to god you at least have a bit of a go. They got what they deserved in the end.

This is exactly what I’m thinking will happen. We’ve done very well to go in at 0-0 playing into that wind and we even had a few semi decent chances to score. Some of our players are seriously struggling to adapt - Hogarth with his punts straight into the air and Lennon with his constant cross field rakers that are just dying in the air and causing us all sorts of bother. I see Callum Wilson is injured again. I thought he looked very unfit (which is understandable) but he seemed to be starting every game. It felt like a lot so soon after such a long lay off, he wasn’t really eased back in at all.
