Is there anyone seriously thinking Robbo may end up at Aberdeen
He's bound to be mentioned, especially with Burrows there, but the current run we are on, coupled with "Goodwin Factor" probably rules him out IMO.
Even if we were still in good form I don't think the Aberdeen fans would appreciate Robboball much.

Absolutely with Chaps here, this is a season defining run of fixtures.
It's hard to dress the current run up as anything other than stinking, the numbers are fairly damning;
2 league wins in 10
Only scored in 2 of those 10 fixtures
7pts from last 30 on offer
11pts from last 42 on offerYou can however spin it a wee bit..........
Four of our last five league games have been against the teams sitting 1st through to 4th, and we won the game against a team below us.
In the run of 14 games where we've only won 3 and drawn 2 we have played Rangers and Celtic 4 times
Hibs and Dundee are going to be very tricky games. If we can even get 3pts from those two I'd be fairly happy before we then have a pop at Celtic in the cup and then the three games against, with all due respect, three teams we really need to be beating if we are in any way serious about being a top six side.

Never massively look forward to either Rangers or Celtic coming to town to be honest.
It's more enjoyable than it used to be when they took over the ground right enough, but the gulf feels as big as ever at the moment and the lunchtime kick off comes along to sap the remaining enjoyment out of the fixture.
If we keep 11 men on the pitch there's no reason we can't give them a good game I suppose.
Actually fuck it, 2-1 Saints.

"and the 25-year-old is expected to go straight into Stephen Robinson’s first-team for their weekend clash with Rangers"
There is no chance anyone is coming into the squad and replacing Scott Tanser, unless he's injured.
I took that line to be the only way they could crib the word Rangers into the tweet they made about the potential signing.
A bit like the other day when the Record tweeted about "former Rangers hero Duncan Ferguson shovelling snow off the Inverness Caley Thistle pitch"
Absolute fucking melts.

I'm personally not bothers about getting this early in the competition. Nice yes, to get a wee away day down the coast or to an obscure ground we haven't been to before, though I'm a firn believer that a home game vs them this early in the competition, strengthens our position to go all the way IF we beat them. Other than that, worse case scenario is that it gives us more focus on a strong league finish if we go out.
That's a decent way to look at it.
We are also looking at a guaranteed at least a £71K pay day from the tie (£47K if we go out at this stage plus £24K TV money) plus our share of the gate receipts.
I'd imagine that should loosen the purse strings a little in this week before the window closes.

40% plus will be taken by them and its the cup.
Celtic will get 1600 tickets for the game, won't be any different to a league match.
Assuming the game will be on Viaplay the actual TV coverage itself won't massively harm the gate, but I don't see us getting close to the 7K that were at the league game before the break.
6K is about as good as we can expect IMO, and as always that will depend on the clubs setting sensible ticket pricing, and the TV company not giving us a really shit kick off time.

I am a very busy man Robert.
Glad you are sorted.

“Dumbarton Football Club are delighted to announce the loan signing of Gallagher Lennon from SPFL Premiership club St Mirren.
The defender joins on a deal until the end of the season and will provide competition in the centre of defence.
Son of former Celtic boss Neil, Gallagher goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie against Rangers.
Welcome to Dumbarton, Lennon!”
Sure the Rangers fans will give him a warm welcome on Saturday night!

Main was excellent for us last season and if Dundee can get that out of him then it's a cracking bit of business.
Robbo definitely knows how to get that level out of him, but many other managers have tried and failed.
I kinda hope Docherty fails tbh!

I am regularly getting this when I try to post. I have to close the tab, go to google or another website, then come back to post. Other than trying to stop my shite posting what is going on @Div ?
Sorry mate, I missed this. I can't see any issues in the logs, and no other reports have come in like this.
Is it still happening?

In a lot of cases these are customised around a users previous activity, sites they have visited and topics they have shown an interest in.

..and totally understandable, considering it'll reach quite a wide audience.
I don't really think who it reaches really makes any difference. We are sitting 5th in table after a very decent first half of the season.
There's very, very little to complain about and absolutely loads to be positive about.
IMHO.

Knowing our luck, we'll get a gaza signing instead!
I see the half term report card is on the BBC for us. It's Canavan, Thompson and Div, is there likely to be anything new or interesting in the 20 minutes or so? I'd listen to it, but with all respect to all the people involved (even Div!) it's not "a panel of experts" that will rock the boat or make left-field suggestions.
Didn't think the boat needed rocking tbh.

I see Greive very much in the same vein as Jay Henderson.
There is something decent there, but is it enough for the top flight? I'm not so sure.
I think the one thing we'd all agree is that Greive was a better sub than he ever was a starter. I can't ever recall him really impressing in any game that he started in, perhaps that's unfair but that's my memories of him anyway.
The decision to cut Henderson lose got a wee bit flak here and there at the time but given the dismal impression he's made in Dingwall it looks like it was the correct move, and I suspect that whilst Greive may well score a few goals in the Championship I'd be very surprised if we see him back in the stripes again.
Cracking attitude and seems like a great boy so wish him every success at Tannadice.

The Human Challenge should only appear on login, there's no reason I can think of why it's appearing when you're posting when already logged in?

Think Elvis will be our first choice RWB after the break allowing Fraser to move back to RCB.
He can also cover for Tanser if he's injured/suspended.
Sounds like Strain is going to be out for the majority of the season going by Robbo's post match comments last night but I think with Fraser providing the cover option there we won't see us rushing to bring in another Wing Back.
Offord coming back is a strange one but I imagine he'll go out somewhere else, he's maybe been recalled because Edinburgh are getting hammered every week and/or as Stu suggests maybe they can't afford his wage percentage.
Wouldn't be surprised if Aberdeen offered Baccus a PCA and if he was to agree that then the inevitable cash bid to spring him early will come in.

What are the nearest pubs at the stadium? Is there any?
If you're getting the train in early, get your ticket to Paisley St.James but get off at Gilmour Street and there are loads of pubs about for beers.
Then head back to Gilmour street and catch the 14:51 train to St James that drops you right outside the ground at 14:53.
Or if you don't fancy cutting it that fine there is a 14:22 train that gets in 14:24.
Or it's a 10/15 min walk from the town centre to the stadium.

Tam I'm sure is a good and generous guy. That though is irrelevant to whether or not he is a good broadcaster. And as he co-hosts a radio show where his appointed role appears to be that of 'funny man', then what people think of his 'sense of humour' is more important than how much money he may donate, however worthy the cause.
Whether or not he is a good broadcaster is, like any form of entertainment, completely subjective.
Plenty people must like it or the show wouldn't be about to enter it's 30th year.
I suppose if folk don't like Tam or the show they could, and this is a bit wild, just not bother listening to it?

So what you're saying is, he does a lot of good work for charity/good causes but doesn't like to talk about it?
I know you're taking the piss, but yes, that's entirely accurate.

I know it's not fashionable in this thread to post something positive about Tam, but I will anyway.
I helped him do a recent event in Paisley, and he received a fee for that from Renfrewshire Council, a very reasonable one at that.
He asked me to collect on his behalf and donate the lot to the St.Mirren Youth Academy.
He's a really good guy, whatever you think of his sense of humour.

I'm in the waiting room for the Hungary game.
You'll get access to both games once you're in.
The Waiting Room will evnetually show a time to wait, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll wait that long.
Mine went from 4 mins to open, then you get 5 mins from then to login.
Good luck!
