  1. This is why every club in Scotland should have a plastic pitch.
  2. Just take the Clyde canal right to the kelpies.
  3. Board rubbings fans up the wrong way the night before a big match. Things you love to see.
  4. They were banging on about having loads of fans.
  5. Way less than 99% of our fans are 'normal'
  6. Can away fans park behind the stand or am I better parking in the industrial estate and walking?
  7. UEFA give a £25k allowance but, as you can imagine, it doesn't go far. Chairman said we'll be lucky to break even.
  8. Stirling game is probably a fairer comparison due to distance. We took one supporters bus of 52 through to that, we've got, at least, 3 coming through to Falkirk. Then include those driving as it's a close game. Also, as the season is going on we're getting more cause for optimism. I'd be pretty disappointed if we don't hit 500 but who knows? I personally don't think the TV makes a difference here, who wants to watch a game in gaelic with the odd nonsense from Craigen?
  9. This ridicule of our diddy support is what I came for. In all seriousness I would take a guess at us bringing 500-600 through, which for us is good going.
  10. Listened to the end with Ben. I don't like how nice and magnanimous everyone was being about the upcoming fixture. Can someone please hit with an outrageous statement that will get ridiculed at 7:30pm on Saturday? Thanks.
  11. Heard Bob 'FTP' Malcolm is looking for a route into management. Fits the staunch af billing.
  12. Can you buy tickets online for this or is it PATG only?
  13. Biggest game in Scotland this weekend. We've still not been behind in a league game this season. If Falkirk take the lead it'll be interesting to see how we react. We tend to start fast (so do Falkirk) so I think an early goal will be important. Hopefully finally giving someone a battering will give our attack some extra confidence as we've dominated every league game this season, without getting the goals to back it up. I'm going to remain confident and say we'll take the 3 points. 2-0 Accies.
  14. Second half of the first half we were a little flat but Henderson did miss a great chance so it should've been, at least, 2-0 at the break. Second half was one way traffic and we could've had a couple more. Joe McGlynn's movement is excellent, when his chance comes to start I really hope he takes it as I think we may have found a gem in him. Hard to tell when you're in the crowd but that did feel like a bit of a bigger attendance tonight. Fair play to the Annan fans too, that's probably the most away fans we've had this season. Good effort for a Friday night.
  15. Game day. I've never actually seen us play Annan but obviously we have a terrible record against them. Surely we should have too much tonight though? Annan have been decent the past few games, I'm hoping Mumbongo starts tonight and looks as good as he did in his cameo last week. Also hoping tonight is the night things click in attack for us. I'll predict 3-0 Accies but I do think that's optimistic going by our home form so far this season.
  16. Best end to a season ever. We were in pole position to win the league and bottled it away to Dumbarton in the penultimate game, with player/manager Alex Neil getting sent off in a 4-1 defeat. Following week we need Dundee to drop points and us to win by 8 goals. We beat Morton 10-2 in the most ridiculous afternoon of football I've been part of. We miss out on winning the league as Dundee win their final game 2-1. Enter the play offs where we beat you lot (Ali Crawford wonder goal if I remember correctly at Falkirk) then we score a last minute goal at Easter Road to take Hibs to extra time, before beating them on penalties for promotion. God, I don't think my 10 years older heart could take another end of season like that. Let's just hope one of us (Accies) canters the league.
  17. Not sure but if the games pish we can go to this instead.
  18. Just when you start to think it's Hamburg's season, they start to do Hamburg things. Two very poor defeats in a row.
  19. Accies fan in Waitrose? That doesn't fit our demographic.
  20. I'm sure it's of little consolation to Alloa but you're the best team I've seen us play so far this season. Eventhough Stirling drew with, we should've won that game comfortably. Yesterday's match was by far the most even game we've been a part of.
  21. I can't believe I'm making this argument for them but that's the 'Scott Struthers owned, non official, Accies page' that's retweeting those videos. @theacciesfc is the, alleged, official twitter handle of the club now. On the note of the official twitter, the post match interview with Rankin was hard to watch. Has Ben at Only Accies said before that he wouldn't be interested in running the clubs socials? I don't get why he doesn't get the gig (if he wants it).
  22. Yeah, I was in the stand and the calibre of Alloa headers looked far superior. Was nice to see Graham getting collectively booed when he took the ball back.
