Just fantastic. All heroes. Worth every penny of the £20 for PPV.

He will fit in, a striker who has never scored a senior goal.

Just a pity we didn’t do better pre-season.

I know it's far from the biggest problem at the club but what a disgrace that pitch is. I could accept it if it had been a terrible winter but its been mild and a look at literally any other pitch in the league will show it should be better.
Green thumb do a wonderful job on my grass. Other firms are available.1 -
akuram, where do I sign up for this stream? Dundee supporter so obviously not Saintees season ticket holder!
It’s been answered. Dare I say enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

Our streams are good quality with replays of goals etc ( obviously not needed often ) and would think you can have your own commentary if Dundee do that. Bit expensive but saves you all the hassle of roads and car park at the end.
Both sides need a win after result last night.0 -
In my opinion paying money for Forrest would have been a waste of money, now if it had been his brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do we hate Alan Main?
I always blamed Paul Hartley whose sending off turned the game against Dundee Utd.
That's always been my opinion.

That what I wonder, probably more in hope.
We need something badly to change, we need something to kick start some kind of form.
Players having to walk through that, it’s going to leave a lasting impression on them. It’s going to hit you a lot harder than going down a tunnel with a few half hearted boos from 50 yards away.
Could go the other way, of course, and some might think why the f**k would I want to win for that shower, but if they’re resilient enough it might fire them up.
Find out soon enough I guess..

Very poor crowd control that there seems to be only one steward? who was just watching. Great credit to Liam Craig for taking charge of the situation and making sure Zander didn't do anything stupid. Where are the manager and coaches?

I was actually very surprised at how quiet and subdued the whole Saints crowd was - it’s not usually like that at all at a ‘big’ away day.
Reflecting on the scenes at the end, the way certain fans conducted themselves was a disgrace tbh. Probably the worst was the fat speccy guy having a go at a photographer, genuinely embarrassing stuff. I think booing the team off would’ve been acceptable but the abuse was too far tbh.
James Brown is being hung out to dry playing that RWB role, it’s ridiculous. He got the ball a number of times in promising situations and did absolutely f**k all with it. Can’t beat a man, no inventiveness, crossing poor.
Crawford, I don’t know what to say about. I actually didn’t think he was especially bad yesterday and looked the most likely to score (hit the bar second half and drew a good save first half). However what annoys me is how waif-like he is and how easily he is pushed off the ball. He’s a professional athlete ffs, go to the fucking gym. Just really irrationally irritates me how scrawny he is, same with Tanser when he was here.
Kelty’s tactics were pretty intelligent. They brought on two energetic, pacy forwards towards the end who stretched the game and caught us on the counter. The difference in how dangerous they looked in comparison to May & Middleton was stark.
I’m not really sure where we go from here, there’s zero creativity in the team without Wotherspoon. As has already been mentioned, this system is shite and doesn’t suit the players.
How come Kelty can have “ two energetic pacy forwards “ to bring on when all we to bring on are Middleton and May.0 -

That’s it for me. Get him out and put Craig in charge for Dundee.
Could only do better than this crap.

We need quality players in and we need them in now, its desperation caused by short sightedness in the summer. Double winners with European football to play was exactly the time to get players in, a quality CM and Striker would've been chomping at the bit to get in. 6M euros later and we're laughing.
Instead we had caution, then stupidity and are now looking down the barrel of relegation and the loss of millions. THAT'S ON YOU Stevie Broon, THAT'S ON YOU.
Pretty much spot on.0 -
I see the bookies have Callum Davidson ahead of Boris in who gets punted first.[emoji23]
It’s one or the other but probably Boris.0 -
Neither Kerr or McCann started last night for their new teams. What a waste of their talent now as we are missing them so much.

Tonights results could not have gone worse with the only teams we have a chance of catching all winning.
White flag time???????????

From a promising first half to an absolutely dire second 45 minutes. The two goals were horrendous and throwing on Crawford and Middleton to try and get us back into it is honestly so depressing. We are down.
Thought Crawford did ok but just send Middleton back, he is a complete phoney footballer.

We play tomorrow night and it looks like our attackers are the same if the story about no clearance for Cifti is correct.
Really pathetic0 -
Really? You're giving credibility to what the manager of the selling club is saying in the media? Especially when that manger is Ian McCall? And we're in a very weak negotiating position and there's still 2 weeks left in the window?
He's not the decision-maker. If we, or anyone, puts on offer on the table for any player that the board want to take, that player is sold.
I've been critical that we're probably making low-ball offers which we likely are, but then again, I've no idea about the standard of players we're linked with.. Thought Rudden could be interesting until watching the game on Friday. Not to judge a player on a single appearance but if that's anything like representative of the standard I'd hope we've got other options lined up.
Didn’t do anything much better than Calum Hendry who I thought had some nice touches. Didn’t look worth £500000.0 -
The true fact is we would not be in this position if we had signed a couple of average even strikers before the start of the season. We had everything in our favour then not now.
There can be no argument on this.1 -

Fair play to St Johnstone, they're in trouble and are acting. Nadir might be a bit of a dice roll, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does ok for you. Could easily bag 6-7 goals between now and the end of the season.
6-7 goals from him would be success because our other strikers don't look like scoring as many as that.

Still an improvement on our current striking options tbf.
I see this a a exciting signing that if he is handled right as the main striker starting every game getting maybe 60 minutes has the potential to be successful.
No point in him coming on with 10 minutes to go. He needs to feel he is the main man.
This could help the other strikers up their game.0 -
Kyle Lafferty’s a free agent. Time to spend the big bucks.
Why not if he would come to us, at least he is a presence up front and seems to always give 100% and scores goals.
Just what we need is it not.0 -
They need to get the Ali Crawford situation cleared up in the next few days.

I’d say he’s hit and miss with all of those things, and it really depends on what kind of form/mood he’s in. He has all these attributes in his locker but doesn’t show them all very regularly (which I suppose makes sense because he’d be nowhere near us if he did).
He’s a penalty box striker first and foremost. Gets in good positions and finishes the chances that he gets.
I’m really not sure he’s a great fit for St Johnstone at this time, as he’s totally unproven in the top flight and by most accounts you don’t create many chances. Would be a fairly big risk imo.
A penalty box striker is actually just what I think we need. We do create chances just don’t have anyone willing to have a go quickly with them.0

Really pleased for both as I amongst others have been very critical.
