Our lack of any goal threat has ruined our season so far and it is all due to our lack of investment in the striking department. With our cup money etc there is no excuse for it.
All our new season ticket holders must be scunnered I know I am.

Two Hibs red cards tonight might balance things up a bit on Saturday?

They should keep the Doncaster in as a tribute to the missing vote.
To me that looks the business.
Pity the corners are not filled in at McDiarmid and the seats all the same colour.0 -

I'd rather avoid Kennedy.
I think he's alright but he's struggled with injuries at Aberdeen, he'd be a high earner, and we've been stung a lot recently by bringing back players like that.
Agree. We need new blood please.

Radio commentary, do we have to listen to the constant twittering of that Lianne Crichton?

More importantly how is our striker search going?

Surely by now our management must see that what we have as a strike force just is not good enough. Other teams such as Motherwell can find strikers from down south or abroad who score goals. We bring in a striker who for some reason is not played so up to now has been a complete waste of time and money. He may prove me wrong and I hope so but so far has been pointless.
We needed a striker for our European games desperately anyone with half a braincell could see that.
What have we done with all the money from the cup wins and Europe?
Some of it should have been used to give us a fighting chance.0 -
Thank god I was able to watch that at home warm and cosy. Truly a terrible watch. Hearts score five today, at our rate it takes us half a season.

It was St Johnstone Bobby come and helped out. Week Before our Scottish cup final we had to play Celtic at parkhead with a team of kids and reserves, one sub and a goalie who just signed that day and had not met any team mates until the warm up. We got scudded 6 nil but just had to get on with it. Double standards are horrendous
I think it was only 4-0 which was quite good really.

I love the Fair Play Stand, particularly the top bit. However, I’ve no idea how it passes any health and safety criteria for getting out.
How did the passages and staircases get planning permission?
But you get a great view from the upper seats.

I know we got battered in the second half but that really was a terrific performance from a very changed saints side due to the amount of injuries we have. No Rooney, Brown, Dendocter, Craig etc.
I thought that obviously Zander was first class and won us the game but all our loan players did well and at the end all looked like it mattered to them that we won.
Got to say that the ref today was in my opinion very good and I think fair to both sides not like that imposter Steven Mclean we had on wednesday night.

Oh how need a striker.

For me, Clarke even being mentioned there is unfair as his pass was completely fine. He even hit it behind McCart, away from the pressing Livi players, and weighting it to run through onto McCart's stronger left side (had McCart not stepped across and backheeled it). McCart's error alone.
Why did Craig not clear the ball upfield?0 -
Really today we got of to a terrible start and it went downhill with our mistakes. Fair play to Livi as they deserved all three points. Cannot understand how the Eutu still doesn't get on even at 3-0 when we are beaten to give him a run.
We could be playing still with Livi away home and we wouldn't have scored.
As poor a display as I can remember for a long time.

Rooney the big haddy being allowed to run 50 yards with the ball should be the end of the road for every Dundee player on the left half of the pitch yesterday
Bet you wish he was your big handy.
He is some big unit.0 -
Actually yesterday I had pretty good internet in the main stand at McDiarmid which is unusual for me. Mostly it just doesn’t work. It annoys me as I like to check the scores.

BBC special as Efe not playing and Northcott must have ghosted through the match as I certainly never saw him on the pitch is listed in our team.

No tears here. It just is a fact St Johnstones style is utterly brutal and has been for years.
Its worked recently for you so understandably you wont care.
As i say you have had many a rant on here at your own clubs tactics and style of play so i think you know!
So how come you committed more fouls than us?0 -
A poor game won by the one goal and really our only shot on target. Pleased for Stevie May who has struggled to score for ages.
Watching the game I felt Aberdeen could have played all night against our 10 men and would never have scored so the last minutes passed without any hairy moments.
After last season against you we really deserved a win.

I thought in real time and side on from the East Stand that Morelos had run in and smashed Craig in the face with both hands. Having seen it back tonight he is stupid and does run in with his hands up, but Craig throws himself down and Morelos doesn’t really make any kind of contact.
Quite why Rooney was booked is beyond me, he was hardly involved in the whole thing.
I think i was the only person in my section who thought it was a penalty. Muller slides in, doesn’t get the ball and clips Kent’s foot. It’s a penalty.
So you are saying there was contact. It certainly looks like it on the Twitter replay.0 -
Morelos surely has get punished for his punch on Liam Craig after the penalty. Why did Liam try to take the ball from Roofe just stupid though.

What did Morelos actually do, I didn’t see the incident?

Tomorrow we need Liam Craig on the team sheet first and then build the team round him. He always gives 100%.
