  1. I don´t think they have to but they could obviously choose to do so. However, there are so many creditors I think the chance of details not leaking through the press is pretty slim.
  2. Maybe I´m being simple today but Haudit or Daudit (which one is Paul Clark again?) is seriously claiming to be optimistic HMRC will accept a deal with an unknown value on it which not only lets Rangers off the hook on the tax case but on around 15 million of unpaid tax since last May for the sake of making a million or two more than not shutting them down? To accept this deal knowing football creditors will be paid in full a couple of months later while the new owners make noises about giving the manager a war chest to spend on players? I knew I should have stuck in at accountancy at uni...
  3. Rangers are morons...they still don't seem to appreciate they have much bigger problems than the next 12 months and if/when the CVA fails they'll need the goodwill of Scottish football to keep going. They're hitting out at the people they're going to need to help them.
  4. "“We are well progressed with a plan that is designed to bring both fan ownership and long term financial stability to the club, without reliance on funding from either a bank or a benefactor. We do not believe we can separate the sporting integrity of our league from the sustainable future of our club; the two go hand in hand." It would have been nice - if highly surprising - for Motherwell to come out and say no Newco but the above gives me hope we'll do the right thing.
  5. Indeed it is possible but if you think there's a chance it did and the BBC still ran that show regardless, I have some shares in moon-stock to sell you. I was also disappointed they didn't actually show what the proof was - this table on their site saying whether or not there was a side letter, why not show it? I was wanting to see the evidence tonight not just another hint they're on their way to oblivion. Most interesting tonight was the suggestion of D+P being at it. I find their response rather amusing, it's as if they think Mark Daly unilaterally decided to broadcast a national television story tonight with all kinds of libel issues with no checking, editing or legal reference. Good one.
  6. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/football-news/article/2786614 fight, fight, fight!
  7. This season maybe...but this why Celtic more than anyone else are in a lose-lose. Let Rangers back in and their fans will go mental and not buy season tickets out of principle, keep Rangers out and the season is over so there's no point in buying season tickets.
  8. Don't think he's a knob, I just think he's deluded if he ever thought a bid currently worth a net total of £6.5m was going to do the business. Minus D+P fees, you're looking at potentially only £4m for up to £130m of debt!!!
  9. So in summation their bid was never the highest and required an entirely speculative punt on HMRC accepting (potentially) less than 5p in the £ so not to be cruel. They would have created a rule saying they would never spend more than they earned but despite having to slash the wage bill they'd bring back two 'superstars' into the football department above the manager. This was the stuff of total fantasy. If this was the best it could be for Rangers they are well and truly fucked.
  10. PM - I'm not here to rubbish D+P but they've done f**k all and we're no further forward.
  11. PM claims D+P misrepresented them. BK says this was a credible plan, fully funded, D+P better have someone good, fully funded who doesn't walk away next week. Walker Morris (the lawyers) say CVA by next season had to be started tomorrow. BK dodges question on if his bid biggest.
  12. Smith and Souness would have been in charge of 'football board' on part-time, non-exec basis, while McCoist remained manager. ga
  13. £5.5m cash up front (having secured CW shares)...£2m more depending on Euro success...football creditors in full (take on debt of £3.5m) = total value of £11m. Inherited £3.5m of debtors which could arguably have been taken off value of bid...but this would have been used to fund from June 1. Then any further shortfall made up by Knights.
  14. Would imagine Murray Park is for the players pre-match press conference rather than Duffman who is at Ibrox?
  15. How come? Alasdair Lamont is going through the note of reasons and tweeting interesting bits...obviously the appeal board may take a different view to the original trio but they used seriously damning language and it would be a major about turn for Rangers to now get off with this.
  16. Theoretically yes but I find it hard to imagine they would do so. Shame as it would be bloody brilliant.
  17. Rangers appeal to the SFA regarding signing ban etc will be heard on May 16 (next Wednesday).
  18. Ha ha, sadly not. Changed my mind half-way through. Bit like Bill Miller really.
