  1. Of course SFL3 clubs are renowned for relying on thousands of away fans to balance their books!!
  2. They didn't actually mention Montrose FC - just described LP as one of the venues which Newhuns will visit should the SFL clubs not vote as they have been instructed to by Huncaster tomorrow.
  3. In depry analysis from Sky. A predictable soundbite from Motherwell's *** manager and a brief video of Links Park. Well done Sky Sports.
  4. So will Division 3 get more than half a page in Monday's Record next season??
  5. Radio Scotland at 6 tonight to hear Traynor's tearful appeal for SFL1 - but will Chick be on??
  6. To paraphrase Oz from Auf Wiedersehen Pet Doncaster appears to have all the charm of a mass grave! The SFL must stand up to these blatant coercion attempts.
  7. It beggars belief that the SPL should be shaping the future of Scottish football according to Stuart Cosgrove on Radio Scotland. He also quoted Turnbull Hutton's opinion that the SPL is a dead parrot.
  8. Except that it wouldn't be abdicating responsibility. The SFL have nothing to vote on currently as there is no vacancy. The vacancy will only arise in the event that the SPL chairmen grow some balls and finally hold a vote.
  9. Not sure what the cut-off date is, but yes, if they are still in administration (must be getting less likely all the time) there will be another ten points deducted next season!

  11. Stranraer fans feel free to contradict me (Blue Moon, Jimmy McCabe, anybody??) as this is just off the top of my head - looks like Rangers for us: Rangers (League Cup) 1992/93 Dunfermline (League) 1994/95 Kilmarnock (Scottish Cup) 1997/98 Falkirk (Scottish Cup) 1998/99
  12. From what I've heard it was that spell that killed them. When the money disappeared there was nowhere for Tarff to go. I'm glad that I saw them playing in a Scottish Cup tie at Ballgreen before their demise, although they lost 4-1 against Montrose. That was only about 4 or 5 years ago.
