Too early to say Smith out?
4 months too late and counting more like.

Wether or not Smith could do much about it, its a bit of a shiter that we could be starting the season with those problems, let alone what Hearts will do to that lineup next week.
Early days of course Renton but he is the man in charge, he decided who to sign and what kids to let go. If it transpires He has signed toothless strikers and chocolate midfielders then he will be fair game, even more so if Court and Bell go on to do well at Bayview and McCann makes the grade at Eastend.

I can’t believe six defenders and two defensive midfielders failed to create much. Gobsmacked.
Aye Smith & Cubby must be sitting fair perplexed.

Well people were crying out for youth to be given a chance, here’s an opportunity against the two time running worst Scottish professional football team. Seems to be going well thus far...
So Valentine, Watson and McKay are the sole reasons we are losing?

In normal circumstances I’d want to do well in this cup as it can make us some money unlike its worthless counterpart the juice cup. This season we are in no position to attempt a shot at progression at either so I agree a swift exit would be better plan.

1-0 Cowden looks like you’ll get your wish awee Sandy.

I am up to speed with the Wedderburn, Milne and Flanagan saga.
But, can someone bring me up to date on Dall and Smith?
Who are they? I never realised they were "in the frame" for signing.
Cheers
Kieran Dall is a midfielder and Jack Smith is a striker, both were in the development side last season and both are still on the players page.

Only 2 outfield subs. Why aren’t there more youths on the bench? .......oh wait that’s right we binned them to save money.
All the same why aren’t Jack Smith and Keiran Dall there?

I'd doubt we paid anything to hold the strip launch at Society last year. It'll surely be the same for this one, especially as it's at Dennis's.

In between diagnosing injuries and assessing players fitness, all from simply spectating at a game, you're quite the amateur physio so it seems.
So it seems some wish to believe.
Maybe tomorrow’s Press will give us all some clearer insight on what happened last week against Dundee Utd, they’ve been good so far in telling us that Vaughan and Milne were injured if a little vague about severity and time scales.

It’s a bit ironic that we’ve got 3 players out injured (Vaughan, Wedderburn and Milne) and another two in Flanagan and Duggan who appear to be walking wounded, yet the main topic of conversation on here is a player we’re not signing who it seems is fitter now than he has ever been in his time at SP.

Have you diagnosed this 2-4 weeks from sitting in the stand?
nah the touchline.
Went more with gauging how I dealt with strains and pulls when I played and how long I was out for. But you are right these guys play at a higher level maybe they will be fit before then......we will see.
Not all of us are limited to only what they see from the stands.

You’d be in a shoe in for the vacant physiotherapist position with that diagnosis.Nah. Fairly rudemetory. Duggan was merely rubbing his thigh and the physio applied a strapping, Wedderburn was limping so much he could barely walk to the pavilion. A hammy pull will keep most players out of action for weeks but a strain isn't as serious.

1-0 Us despite the Arabs having stonewall goal and pen not awarded.
McHattie rocket to win the game and a solid performance from all.
The injury to Wedderburn and Duggan looking to have tweaked something the only downsides, Wedderburns looks bad (maybe 2 to 4 weeks) but Duggans just looked minor and precautionary.

Don't forget the £900k we got from Bolton for Stevie McAnespie.
For all that Jimmy Thomson did wrong (and Munro did far worse in my book) he still gave me the highest placed Rovers team finishing position in all my years of supporting.

Dundee Utd behind closed doors in St Andrews, hope that history doesn’t repeat its self in this fixture.
Some May have forgotten what happened in the last bounce game between these sides but I’m sure Aaron Lennox hasn’t, you might say it’s imprinted on his brain....and jaw.

We’re we playing East Fife ?
Erm no, it was just being played at their ground.
It was Dunfermline we were playing.
Sheesh some folk need to pay more attention to what’s going on.

Don’t care what the competition is, be it the the League, Cup, juice cup or fecking tiddlywinks getting one over on your neighbours is always better than losing to them.

I drove past the Carrick Sports van this morning, I know that might mean anything, and might be going to any other sports facility, but they were in at the ground earlier just before they started laying the type1. So hopefully they were en route to San Starko for the start of laying the ‘turf’.Going by the SP web cam yer Carrick van went elsewhere.

It’s not lost. The man that has it imprinted in his dna sits in the row in front of me in an almost direct line between you an me in the south stand.

That’s twice you’ve mentioned Rory Brian. He’s left us now..glitch, I thought my initial post failed. Has Rory gone? Still not seen anything official though I said this was the likely case 2 months ago.

Jordan Hart turned out for us as a trialist today....
Hopefully that means nothing more than we are only having a wee look at him (though still can’t fathom why) because Rory isn’t available rather than Smith is actually contemplating signing him. If it’s the latter Smith should be registered as clinically blind as well as incompetent.

hopefully means nothing more sinister than Rory Brian isn't back from Oz yet, the alternative doesn't bear contemplating and would mean that Barry Smith should be registered as officially blind....as well as incompetent.

I wonder if they were under orders not to get involved so as not to pick up any more injuries?
Any hoo It’s the guys at Raith Tv I respect most, what a task they have ahead of them this term interviewing the coaches and not telling them what they really think of them.
Wonder who lost at Rock Paper Scissors and has to do the post Match interview.
