It would've been Meadowbank I'm sure - the site will just have replaced Meadowbank or Ferranti with Livingston for all ties. I wonder what they'll be called next?

This link has all Caley's Scottish Cup results going back to an emphatic 4-2 triumph over the jaggies at Kingsmills on the 6th September 1890...
Did you see the Falkirk fan falling over the fence onto his back as they all rushed to the front after the goal? It looked really painful but a combination of alcohol/joy/embarrassment got him back on his feet.
Joe Frazier. Roberto Juran. Sally Gunnell. Gorbals Mick. Tam Scobbie. Ian Black. Jim Falconer. Tommy Cumming.
Edited to add: Oh dear, it's funny how a few pints affects the brain..

Star Trek
Not a sci-fi or Star Trek geek but my interest was piqued after reading Shatner's humorous autobiography. This was thoroughly enjoyable big budget fair. Simon Pegg's accent divided opinion but he was good IMO.

The Damned United
Vastly different tone to the book. Where was all the 'dirty, f*cking, cheating Leeds' rants and the alcoholism? Probably omitted to placate the Clough family I'd imagine, which is fair enough. You won't get many better football films than this though. Michael Sheen is a good impressionist and Colm Meaney (Star Trek link there) is uncanny as Don 'bloody' Revie. On a pedantic note, I was slightly irritated by some factual errors/things conveniently missed from the film.

Looks like NS and 108 have been upsetting you again. Shouldn't you just make that 'enjoy the shopping' line your signature?
For what it's worth I think your lot will stay up and I've thought that for months.
'Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln' by Doris Kearns Goodwin
Absolutely riveting study of the man from beginning to end. Both a biography and overview of just what a great statesman he was, how he overcame crisis after crisis in the most challenging time of all for the USA, won over the overwhelming affections of everybody he came into contact with, and somehow managed his cabinet of bitter political rivals (hence the title). I was urging him not to go to Ford's Theatre at the end of the book.
